As Data Visualization Coordinator, I work on the production and dissemination of visual modes of scholarly communication and analysis. In practice, this means working with faculty, students, and colleagues across Brown on visually-oriented projects and holding classes on visualization tools and techniques.

Another related-but-distinct part of my job is encouraging, coordinating, and supporting innovative applications of the Sidney E. Frank Digital Studio, with its video and audio recording and editing mini-studio, and its large-format printer and full-color 3D printer, as well as the Digital Scholarship Lab (DSL) with its 16-by-7 foot display wall and video switcher.

I have degrees in Ethnomusicology and English, and in the past I’ve been a Technology Liaison for the Humanities at Wheaton College, and the Senior New Media Coordinator for the Attorney General of Ontario.
