Cher Lloyd

Cher Lloyd (born 28 July 1993) is an English singer, songwriter, rapper, and model. Lloyd rose to fame in 2010 when she finished fourth in the seventh series of The X Factor. Following the seventh series finale, Lloyd was signed to Syco Music.

Lloyd's debut single, "Swagger Jagger," was released in July 2011. The single entered at number one on the UK Singles Chart and number two in the Republic of Ireland. Her second single, "With Ur Love," was released on 31 October 2011, featuring Mike Posner, and peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart, and number five in Ireland, preceding her debut album, Sticks and Stones (2011), which peaked at number four on the UK Albums Chart and number seven in Ireland. Lloyd released her second album, Sorry I'm Late in 2014. Despite its positive acclaim, the album failed to match the success of its predecessor, peaking at number 21 on the UK Albums Chart. Although the album was met with little chart success Sorry I'm Late did sell more copies than the debut album did as Sticks and Stones only sold 31,000 and the second 41,000. Lloyd also experienced crossover appeal, signing to US record label Epic Records in 2012.

Human back

The human back is the large posterior area of the human body, rising from the top of the buttocks to the back of the neck and the shoulders. It is the surface opposite to the chest, its height being defined by the vertebral column (commonly referred to as the spine or backbone) and its breadth being supported by the ribcage and shoulders. The spinal canal runs through the spine and provides nerves to the rest of the body.

Structure

The central feature of the human back is the vertebral column, specifically the length from the top of the thoracic vertebrae to the bottom of the lumbar vertebrae, which houses the spinal cord in its spinal canal, and which generally has some curvature that gives shape to the back. The ribcage extends from the spine at the top of the back (with the top of the ribcage corresponding to the T1 vertebra), more than halfway down the length of the back, leaving an area with less protection between the bottom of the ribcage and the hips. The width of the back at the top is defined by the scapula, the broad, flat bones of the shoulders.

Want

The idea of want can be examined from many perspectives. In secular societies want might be considered similar to the emotion desire, which can be studied scientifically through the disciplines of psychology or sociology. Want might also be examined in economics as a necessary ingredient in sustaining and perpetuating capitalist societies that are organised around principles like consumerism. Alternatively want can be studied in a non-secular, spiritual, moralistic or religious way, particularly by Buddhism but also Christianity, Islam and Judaism.

In economics, a want is something that is desired. It is said that every person has unlimited wants, but limited resources (Economics is based on the assumption that only limited resources are available to us from the infinite Universe). Thus, people cannot have everything they want and must look for the most affordable alternatives.

Wants are often distinguished from needs. A need is something that is necessary for survival (such as food and shelter), whereas a want is simply something that a person would like to have. Some economists have rejected this distinction and maintain that all of these are simply wants, with varying levels of importance. By this viewpoint, wants and needs can be understood as examples of the overall concept of demand.

Want U Back

"Want U Back" is a song by British singer Cher Lloyd, from her debut studio album Sticks and Stones. It was released on 17 February 2012, as the third and final single from the UK version of the album, and on 22 May 2012 as her debut US single taken from the US version of the album. The UK single version of the song features guest vocals from The X Factor USA contestant Brian "Astro" Bradley, while new US and Snoop Dogg versions were released in the United States. It was written by Shellback and Savan Kotecha, and it was produced by Shellback. Musically, "Want U Back" is a dance-pop song, with elements of bubblegum and synthpop, while the lyrics are about a girl who's in denial of the fact that she's jealous that her ex-boyfriend has moved on to another girl. Even though she was apparently who the one who dumped him in the first place, she makes various attempts to sabotage her ex-boyfriend's new relationship.

The song received acclaim from most music critics, some praised her sassy attitude on the song and labelled it "infectious". There are two videos for the song: the UK version and the US version. The UK video features Lloyd traipsing through old photographs with her former beau and some with his new girlfriend and wreaking havoc on the happy couple, while the U.S. version features Lloyd at a diner (Cadillac Jack's) wreaking havoc on her ex's new girlfriend. The song has reached number 3 on the New Zealand Singles Chart, number 18 on the Irish Singles Chart and number 25 on the UK Singles Chart. In the United States, the song has reached number 9 on the Pop Songs chart and number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, her first top 40 hit in the United States. It remains Lloyd's biggest hit both worldwide and in the United States to date.
