Rajdhani Express

The Rajdhani Express is a series of express passenger train services in India operated by Indian Railways connecting New Delhi with other important destinations (mostly capital cities of other states). Rajdhani means "The Capital" in many Indian languages. The Rajdhanis are among the fastest trains in India along with Shatabdi Express and Duronto Express and get the highest priority on the Indian railway network.

History

Rajdhani Express was introduced in 1969, for providing fast connections (up to 140 km/h or 87 mph, speed variation depending upon the particular track section) from New Delhi to the capital cities of various states in India. The first Rajdhani Express left New Delhi station for Howrah station to cover a distance of 1,445 km in 17 hours 20 mins.

About

Rajdhani express get highest priority on the Indian railway network. They are fully air-conditioned. Passengers are served complimentary meals during the journey. Depending on the duration and timings of the journey, these could include morning tea, breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner. All Rajdhani Express trains offer three classes of accommodation: AC First Class with 2-berth and 4-berth lockable bedrooms, AC 2-tier with open berths (bays of 4 berths + 2 berths on the other side of the corridor) with curtains for privacy, and AC 3-tier (bays of 6 berths + 2 berths on the side) without curtains. Currently there are 22 pairs of trains, connecting New Delhi to important cities across the country. These trains have fewer stops than other express trains and halt only at prominent stations. The Indian Railways has also introduced free wi-fi facility in Rajdhani Express trains.

Apple Music

Apple Music is a music streaming service developed by Apple Inc. Users select music to stream to their device on demand. The service includes the curated Internet radio station Beats 1, the blog platform Connect that allows artists to share their posts, photos, videos and tracks with fans, and Radio which incorporates some aspects of iTunes Radio. Apple Music provides music recommendations based on user's taste and is integrated with Siri voice commands.

Overview

Apple stated at the WWDC 2015 that the service would launch at the end of June 2015 and would be free for the first three months of usage. After that, Apple Music subscription would cost US$9.99 per month, close to the economic equilibrium point for the recording industry estimated by the Open Music Model.

Users select music on a device, which then plays on the device via Internet streaming and may be saved to the device for offline access. The service also provides music recommendations based on user taste. While Apple Music's cost and music library are similar to other music streaming services, the service aims to distinguish itself with added features and content exclusives.

Mumbai Rajdhani Express

The 12951/12952 Mumbai Rajdhani Express is a super fast express train of Rajdhani class belonging to Indian Railways that runs between Mumbai and Delhi in India. It was introduced on 17 May 1972 between the then Bombay Central and New Delhi. Since the time of its introduction, the train is so much popular that before the introduction of reservation against current availability, its reservation chart was prepared only 15 minutes before the scheduled departure. It is a daily service. It operates as train number 12951 from Mumbai Central to New Delhi and as train number 12952 in the reverse direction.

Coaches

The Mumbai Rajdhani generally has one AC 1st Class coach, five AC 2 tier class coaches, two pantry cars, two luggage cum generator coaches & up to eleven AC 3 tier coaches taking the total up to 21 coaches. Since its inception, the Mumbai Rajdhani ran with 16 coaches. However, the conventional rakes were replaced by Linke-Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches for this train in 2004 and the number of coaches was also increased to 19 including the pantry cars.The number of coaches again was increased to 21 by the Western Railways to accommodate more passengers in June 2012.

"Take You Home" is a song by British-Norwegian boyband A1, released as the lead single from their fourth studio album, Waiting for Daylight. Released nearly a year prior to the album, it is the group's first single release not to feature former band member Paul Marazzi, as he left the group seven years prior. The single was released on 2 November 2009 in Norway only, after heavy promotion of the song on The X Factor in Norway. The song peaked at No. 9 on the Norwegian Singles Chart, and at No. 3 on Norwegian iTunes. The track also served as the 2009 Norwegian Comic Relief charity single.
