On a hot summer day in Atlanta, six lives will come together, and come apart. Hot-headed Rock Star Peter vies for the attention of Agnes, an actress known for her role on the campy vampire TV show, "Southern Gothic." Agnes has a hidden connection to a drunken office worker, Roland, who has alcohol-fueled predilections of his own demise. His only salvation lies in a runaway teenage girl, Jen who has her own fantasies of Rock Stars and Movie Gods. Guiding us through this mysterious maze of relationships are a delusional bible salesman, and a raving film director (Academy Award Winner* Faye Dunaway) who act as modern-day prophets to these young wayward souls.

Written and Directed by Jacob Gentry/Pop Films. Based on the cult novel "The Last Goodbye From Way Down Here" by Patrick Kaye about five young people in Atlanta trying to make a connection amidst the fast paced pop-culture media driven world that envelops them.
Last Goodbye is about the overwhelming desire for something to believe in. A young television star confronts her family and her past. Faye Dunaway (Network), A true independent success story, Jacob came to LAB 601 with very little post money. The LAB digitized all of his footage to a firewire drive, allowing him to edit on his own time, in his production office. He returned the media to LAB 601 for a final colour correct, sound design and finish that really took the film to the next level. Last Goodbye premiered at the 2004 Tribeca film festival.

This song is very sad to me because it marks the end of the middle earth series. I used clips from all 3 Hobbit movies and even Lord of the Rings to make this video. About Pretty Little Liars:

Info from contactmusic.com Scottish actor/singer Billy Boyd struggled to find the right words to bid a fond farewell to Middle-earth as he sat down to write the song which will play over the end credits of the final movie in The Hobbit trilogy. The star, who portrayed the hobbit Pippin in the Lord of the Rings films, teamed up with director Peter Jackson and writers/producers Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens to pen the fittingly-titled The Last Goodbye for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies soundtrack, but he reveals it took them some time to get the lyrics and tune just right as it not only marked the end of The Hobbit sequel, but also the conclusion of the entire fantasy series based on the books by J. R. R. Tolkien. Boyd, who fronts the band Beecake, explains to Ew.com, "We had to get the song just right, to send the audience out of the movie theatre in the most perfect way we could... "A lot of ideas took us to dead ends or we found the tone wasn't just right. I think we discovered very quickly this wasn't just a song to end The Battle of the Five Armies - it was a song to say goodbye to Middle-earth." -

Scottish actor/singer Billy Boyd struggled to find the right words to bid a fond farewell to Middle-earth as he sat down to write the song which will play over the end credits of the final movie in The Hobbit trilogy.
The star, who portrayed the hobbit Pippin in the Lord of the Rings films, teamed up with director Peter Jackson and writers/producers Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens to pen the fittingly-titled The Last Goodbye for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies soundtrack, but he reveals it took them some time to get the lyrics and tune just right as it not only marked the end of The Hobbit sequel, but also the conclusion of the entire fantasy series based on the books by J. R. R. Tolkien.
Boyd, who fronts the band Beecake, explains to Ew.com, "We had to get the song just right, to send the audience out of the movie theatre in the most perfect way we could...
"A lot of ideas took us to dead ends or we found the tone wasn't just right. I think we discovered very quickly this wasn't just a song to end The Battle of the Five Armies - it was a song to say goodbye to Middle-earth."

She had radiation therapy on Thursday and was feeling nauseous and her belly was hurting. "Juliana wasn't feeling very good. She had radiation therapy on Thursday and was feeling nauseous and her belly was hurting. After I drained over 500mL of fluid off of her right lung, I decided she needed to go to clinic for fluids (her kidney function had also been off). When we got to clinic she had a fever (38 degrees) so Colleen drew cultures. Julie was also "grunting" so we put her on oxygen. While on oxygen her saturation continued to decrease even as we continued increasing her oxygen level. Nancy Robey decided Julie needed to be admitted to PICU. About 2 hours later Julie arrived in PICU and they started her on pressurized oxygen. Even with increasing amounts of pressurized oxygen, Julie's saturation continued to decrease. Dr. Loeb came in and told us he needed to speak to us privately. He then told us that Julie needed to be intubated and put on a ventilator and that it was likely her heart would stop in the process and she may die. He took us back to her room to say what could be our final good-bye to her. John & I were in shock as we went back in and told Julie that we loved her. I told her that the doctors were going do something else to help her breathe and Dad and I would be back in as soon as they were done. I gave her one last hug and kiss, told her I loved her and to fight. John called his parents and all of our kids and arranged for them to get to the hospital because Juliana might not make it. Kelly brought Juliana's friend, Emily, to see her and they waited with the rest of our family. We waited in the conference room for what seemed like forever. Finally a nurse came in and said they had the tube in and she was on the ventilator but her heart had stopped for two minutes in the process. The cardiologist came in to get consent to place a drain in her pericardium shortly afterwards. We weren't able to see her for another hour while they placed the pericardial drain, cleaned her up, took an X-ray, put in an NG tube and a urinary catheter. When we finally got to see her she was just coming out of anesthesia but when she was able to communicate, the first thing she said was "I want to get better." We told her she would get better, then she asked, "When can I go home?"
Sunday, October 9th
Juliana is continuing to improve and very slowly be weaned off the ventilator. The triamcinalone was drained from around her pericardium and the drain was clamped. Juliana was supposed to get a CT scan today, but because her kidneys were damaged when her heart stopped, the doctors decided to give her 12 hours of pre-hydration then 12 hours of post-hydration to help protect them from the contrast so she'll get the scan tomorrow morning at 9:00. The doctors also decided that Juliana needed to have a larger breathing tube placed because they couldn't get the correct size in on Friday due to swelling and it would be very difficult to wean Juliana off the ventilator because once the swelling went down, air was leaking around the tube.
Monday, October 10th
Juliana had her CT scan this morning--it took hours of work to prepare for her to "travel" to radiology. She was very tired all day after the stress of getting the scan (moving from bed to CT table required them to momentarily disconnect her oxygen several times). After waiting anxiously all day, we found out that all of the tumors in Juliana's chest and abdomen as well as the one in her left lung were approximately the same size and that tumor progression had not caused her respiratory failure. The doctors still think the staph infection caused it and Julie continues to receive antibiotics to treat the infection. She had an echocardiogram which showed only a trivial amount of fluid around her heart so the cardiologist thinks the triamcinalone worked and he removed the pericardial drain. The drain had been hurting Julie, so we were really glad it could be removed. Wil Lerp came back to visit--he flew in from Texas when he heard how sick Julie was. Juliana is still being weaned slowly and continues to try to communicate with us which is frustrating for both her and us.
