A bonus stage (also known as a bonus level or bonus round) is a special level within a video game designed to reward the player or players, and typically allows the player to collect extra points or power-ups. Often a bonus stage will have no enemies or hazards, or may contain them but the player character is invulnerable to attack from them and cannot be harmed. Some games have bonus stages where the player character can be harmed by enemies or hazards, but will not lose health or lives if killed. Many bonus stages need to be activated or discovered in some manner, or certain conditions must be satisfied to access them, making them secret levels. Some games also contain bonus stages that are not secret but are compulsory and must be played, often at the end of the regular stages. They are often much shorter than regular stages.
Unlike most regular stages, a bonus stage does not normally have to be completed to move on. While a regular stage must be replayed until completion, possibly using up lives or continues upon failures, when a player begins a bonus stage they normally have one chance at it, although not compulsory to reach, some bonus stages do contain an end location or condition to reach, but regardless if the player succeeds or fails, game play resumes at the next regular stage after one attempt. Other bonus stages have no end to reach, the player must simply survive as long as they can before inevitably failing at some point. Some bonus stages have a short time limit, where the player must either complete the stage before the time runs out, or simply survive until the clock runs down to zero. As bonus stages are often shorter and over in one attempt, players cannot as easily practice and perfect their play through of them in the same way as regular stages that permit or demand more play throughs upon failure.
Super Smash Bros., known in Japan as Dairantō Smash Brothers (Japanese: 大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズ, Hepburn: Dairantō Sumasshu Burazāzu, lit. "Great Melee Smash Brothers"), is a series of crossover fighting games published by Nintendo, that primarily featuring characters from franchises established on its systems. All five games have been directed by Masahiro Sakurai.
The gameplay objective differs from that of traditional fighters by aiming to knock opponents out of the stage instead of depleting life bars. The original Super Smash Bros., released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64, had a small budget and was originally a Japan-only release, but its domestic success led to a worldwide release. The series achieved even greater success with the release of Super Smash Bros. Melee, which was released in 2001 for the GameCube and became the best-selling game on that system. A third installment, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, was released in 2008 for the Wii. Although HAL Laboratory has been the developer of the first two titles, the third game was developed through the collaboration of several companies. The fourth and fifth installments,Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, were released in 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, respectively. The 3DS installment was the first series title to be released on a handheld platform.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Japanese: ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグ2, Hepburn: Sonikku za Hejjihoggu Tsū) is a platform video game developed by Sonic Team, with assistance from Sega Technical Institute, and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis console. It was released worldwide in November 1992. The game is the second main entry in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and the first to feature Miles "Tails" Prower, a flying two-tailed fox. He and protagonist Sonic the Hedgehog must stop the series antagonist Dr. Ivo Robotnik from stealing the Chaos Emeralds in order to power his space station, called the Death Egg.
Development of the game began in November 1991, two months later than originally intended, because Sega of America felt that it was too soon for a sequel. Both American and Japanese Sonic Team staff contributed to development; art director Tim Skelly designed the appearance of the game's new 3D special stages, based on an earlier tech demo created by Yuji Naka. The staff increased the speed of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in comparison to its predecessor. As with the original game, the soundtrack was composed by Masato Nakamura.
Jazz Jackrabbit is a series of video games featuring the eponymous character of Jazz Jackrabbit, a green anthropomorphic hare, who fights with his turtle nemesis, Devan Shell, in a science fiction parody of the fable of The Tortoise and the Hare. Created by Arjan Brussee and Cliff Bleszinski and developed by Epic MegaGames, the series debuted on the personal computer in 1994 with Jazz Jackrabbit. The series consists of two computer games and a handheld console game. He was originally the mascot of EpicGames.
The first Jazz Jackrabbit game was developed and released by Epic Megagames in 1994 for PCs running DOS. Jazz had to rescue Carrotus princess Eva Earlong, who was kidnapped by his nemesis, Devan Shell. The shareware edition was extremely popular and the game was named Arcade Game of the Year by PC Format.
A sequel, Jazz Jackrabbit 2 was developed by Orange Games, produced by Epic Games and released in 1998 by Gathering of Developers in North America and Project 2 in Europe. Jazz and his brother, Spaz, team up to get back Eva's stolen wedding ring. Despite moderate success in Europe, it was the first game Gathering of Developers ever lost money on.

The first video in my OST Project for the underappreciated but very funny webtoon, Bonus Stage. These are the intro themes from the show. There are 4 different themes that played over the course of the shows 89 episodes. There were also 2 variations on the third theme that played from episodes 64 to 75, but I couldn't find them. Enjoy! All themes are copyright Matt Wilson and Robot Sock. I did not create ANY of these.

FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/DanielsGameVault CREATED BY: www.youtube.com/user/NortShip01 ------- Well, I thought you guys might like this one so I will share it with you: user NortShip01 made a mix of soundtracks from the original Jazz Jackrabbit on the DOS and he asked for my opinion, since he knows I'm a fan of the series myself. I thought it's pretty amazing, so I asked him if he'd like me to feature this mix on my channel and he agreed, so here it is. I believe he included most, if not ALL of the tracks from the game, perfectly mixed into one another and not just added sequentially. I can only praise the effort and quality - keep it up ! If you have a track or a mix that you'd like me to feature, you can contact me and we can set up a video ;) The tracklist is below, though I ha...

http://www.longplays.org Played by: xRavenXP Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow, known as Donald Starring in Maui Mallard in Europe, is a platform game of 1995. The game was developed by Eurocom and published by Disney Interactive. The game was one of the first to be released by Disney Interactive. What caught our attention, besides the quality of the game is the ability to control Donald Duck in two distinct styles of gameplay. Addressing a content a bit macabre, unlike standard on other Disney games, Cold Shadow managed to surprise the players who saw the Disney games with exclusivity and easy child. On a tropical island, the idol Shabum Shabum disappears. Shabum Shabum is considered the guardian spirit of the island, and unless the idol is recovered, the whole island will explode. The detect...
