(05.05.13) - On February 27th, 1981, Fridays' co-producer John Moffitt appeared on the show to offer his explanation as to what had transpired the week before with Andy Kaufman's bizarre behavior. Mr. Moffitt then brought Andy Kaufman out on the stage, so Andy could set the record straight. I have finally discovered my lost video tape of that show, and have just now uploaded it to YouTube! A television program is a segment of content intended for broadcast on vision, other than a commercial, trailer, or any other segment of content not serving as attraction for viewership. It may be a single production, or more commonly, a series of related productions (also called a television series).
A television series that is intended to comprise a limited number of episodes may be called a miniseries or serial. Series without a fixed length are usually divided into seasons or series, yearly or semiannual sets of new episodes. While there is no defined length, US industry practice tends to favor longer seasons than those of some other countries.
A one-time broadcast may be called a "special," or particularly in the UK a "special episode." A television film ("made-for-TV movie" or "television movie"), is a film that is initially broadcast on television rather than released in theaters or direct-to-video.
A program can be either recorded, as on video tape, other various electronic media forms, played with an on-demand player or viewed on live television.

Michael Richards
Michael Anthony Richards (born July 24, 1949) is an American actor, writer and television producer, widely known for his portrayal of Cosmo Kramer on the television sitcom Seinfeld, for which he received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series three times.
Richards began his career as a stand-up comedian, first entering the national spotlight when he was featured on Billy Crystal's first cable TV special. He went on to become a series regular on ABC's Fridays. Prior to Seinfeld, he made numerous guest appearances on a variety of television shows. His film credits include So I Married an Axe Murderer, Airheads, Young Doctors in Love, Problem Child, Coneheads, UHF, and Trial and Error, one of his few starring roles. During the run of Seinfeld, he made a guest appearance in Mad About You. After Seinfeld, Richards starred in his own sitcom, The Michael Richards Show, which lasted less than one full season.
When Seinfeld ended, Richards returned to stand-up comedy. He incited media furor while performing at the Laugh Factory comedy club in late 2006 after cell phone video was published of him launching into an expletive laced racial tirade primarily directed at a heckling audience member. Subsequent to significant media coverage of the event he announced his retirement from stand-up early in 2007. He appeared as himself in the seventh season of Curb Your Enthusiasm in 2009, acting alongside his fellow cast members for the first time since Seinfeld's finale, as well as parodying his incident at the Laugh Factory.

Melanie Chartoff
Melanie Chartoff (born December 15, 1950) is an American actress and voice actress. She first became famous for her comedy work on the ABC series Fridays (1980–82), and in the 1990s Fox sitcom Parker Lewis Can't Lose. She voiced both Didi Pickles and Grandma Minka on the animated series Rugrats.
Biography
Early life
Chartoff was born on December 15, 1950, in New Haven, Connecticut, and attended West Haven High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts from Adelphi University.
Career
She guest starred on ABC Family's Switched at Birth (2015). Her first Broadway appearances were in Galt MacDermot's space opera, Via Galactica(1972), directed by Peter Hall, and The Young Vic's Scapino, starring Jim Dale (1974).
Chartoff's first TV role came in 1976 when she played a nurse on Search For Tomorrow, after which came an appearance in the 1978 motion picture American Hot Wax. She first became a nationally known figure on ABC's Fridays, which was ABC's attempt to create its own version of Saturday Night Live. She immediately stood out on the series, partly thanks to her regular role as the anchor on the show's fake newscasts, but also due to her comedic skills (particularly an impression of Nancy Reagan). On one sketch, she was cold-cocked on live TV when co-star Mary Edith Burrell failed to pull her punch during a skit and chipped a tooth.

Andy Kaufman
Andrew Geoffrey "Andy" Kaufman (January 17, 1949 – May 16, 1984) was an American entertainer, actor, and performance artist. While often referred to as a comedian, Kaufman did not consider himself to be one. He disdained telling jokes and engaging in comedy as it was traditionally understood, referring to himself instead as a "song-and-dance man". Pranks and elaborate ruses were major elements of his career. His body of work maintains a cult following and he continues to be respected for his original material, performance style, and unflinching commitment to character.
Early life
Kaufman was born on January 17, 1949 in New York City, the first son of Janice (née Bernstein) and Stanley Kaufman. He grew up in a middle-class Jewish family in Great Neck, Long Island, New York, and began performing at age 9. He attended the now defunct two-year Grahm Junior College in Boston; after graduating in 1971, he began performing stand-up comedy at various small clubs along the East Coast.

The national EXPRESS TV will air the shows every Friday and Saturday at 7.p.m every week. These shows mark a big step forward in the Center’s drive for inclusive democracy and fundamental rights as enshrined in the federal Constitution. As many as 40 parliamentarians, rights’ activists, analysts and academia participated in the shows with some 60 male and female students from different regions in the audience. They had specially traveled to Islamabad for participating in the shows and each of them had a chance to put at least one question to the panelists. Never before did FATA come under such focused and s structured debate involving leading stakeholders from within FATA as well as those representing Pakistan’s mainstream political parties – a first in FATA’s political rights’ advocacy in history to debate FATA problems, concerns and future prospects. The TV shows supplement CRSS’s radio advocacy for FATA which has been airing from Peshawar and several other stations in a syndicated show that reaches all nook and corners of KP province and FATA. The TV shows gave an opportunity to the people from FATA to share their problems and seek solutions that can best help mainstream FATA with Pakistan. At the same time it provided the panelists a chance to speak in a focused way on the way the draconian Frontier Crimes Regulations –FCR-impacts their lives. During the discussions, almost all guests and audience demanded repeal of or drastic amendments to the Article 247 of the constitution, which empowers the President to rule these areas through political agents. Most participants demanded to be mainstreamed and treated as equal citizens ( as promised under the Article 25 of the constitution) and asked the president as well as mainstream political parties to help them get rid of the FCR.
