Incidentally, for those curious, the inkling girl gesture removed from #MarioKart8 isn't considered "offensive," just rude.
Are people really choosing the 'Nintendo removed a gesture from Mario Kart' as a hill to die on over censorship in videogames?
>*looks at comments on the new Mario Kart patch* Yeah. I think I know why Siliconera closed the comments here. It clearly got out of hand.
The original gesture where the Inkling Girl had her hand flat on her arm is called the bras d'honoure. In Europe, it means "up yours".
TBH they should have kept the Inkling Girl gesture in, as soon as I hit someone it resembles how I feel, yeah Up Yours Luigi =P #MK8Deluxe
