The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) is an American public broadcaster and television program distributor. Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, PBS is an independently operated non-profit organization and is the most prominent provider of television programs to public television stations in the United States, distributing series such as Keeping Up Appearances, BBC World News, NOVA scienceNOW, NOVA, Sesame Street, Doctor Who, PBS NewsHour, Walking with Dinosaurs, Masterpiece, Nature, American Masters, Frontline, and Antiques Roadshow.
Since the mid-2000s Roper polls commissioned by PBS have consistently placed the service as the most-trusted national institution in the United States. However, PBS is not responsible for all programming carried on public television stations, a large proportion of which (including most specials aired during multi-annually pledge drives) come from third-party sources, including member stations (such as WGBH, WETA-TV, WNET, WTTW National Productions), American Public Television and independent producers. This distinction is a frequent source of viewer confusion.
The PBS NewsHour is an American daily evening television news program that is broadcast on the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), airing seven nights a week on more than 300 of the public broadcaster's member stations. As the nation's first hour-long nightly news broadcast, the program is known for its in-depth coverage of issues and current events.
Since August 2013, the program's weekday broadcasts – which run one hour in length, and are produced by Washington, D.C. member station WETA-TV – have been co-anchored by Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff--the first, and as of 2016, only, all-female anchor team of a national nightly news program on broadcast television. Since its launch in September of that same year, the Saturday and Sunday editions of the program (titled as PBS NewsHour Weekend) – which run for 30 minutes and are produced by New York City PBS member station WNET – have been anchored by Hari Sreenivasan.
The PBS NewsHour originates from WETA's studios in Arlington County, Virginia with additional facilities in San Francisco and Denver. It is a collaboration between WNET, WETA-TV, and fellow PBS member television station KQED in San Francisco.
PBS Digital Studios is a YouTube channel and network through which PBS distributes original educational web video content. It comprises both original series and partnerships with existing YouTube channels. Most of the series are about science, pop culture, art, food, news, and music, though the channel originally launched with a series of video remixes based on PBS icons such as Mr. Rogers.
PBS Digital Studios founded by Jason Seiken in June 2012. They had their first viral hit with a "remix" of autotuned vocals from Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood titled "Garden of Your Mind."
The PBS Digital Studios network has received more than 500 million views and has over 7 million subscribers. Popular series found on their channels include Crash Course, Blank on Blank, It’s Okay To Be Smart, and the multiple Webby Award-winning PBS Idea Channel. Each month, the shows average more than 5 million streams.
Its first scripted series, Frankenstein, MD, launched on August 19, 2014 and ran until October 31, 2014.
Charles Peete "Charlie" Rose, Jr. (born January 5, 1942) is an American television talk show host and journalist. Since 1991, he has hosted Charlie Rose, an interview show distributed nationally by PBS since 1993. He has also co-anchored CBS This Morning since 2012. Rose also substitutes for the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley when Pelley is off or on assignment. Rose, along with Lara Logan, has hosted the revived CBS classic Person to Person, a news program during which celebrities are interviewed in their homes, originally hosted from 1953 to 1961 by Edward R. Murrow.
Rose was born in Henderson, North Carolina, the only child of Margaret (née Frazier) and Charles Peete Rose, Sr., tobacco farmers who owned a country store. As a child, Rose lived above his parents' store in Henderson and helped out with the family business from age seven. Rose admitted in a Fresh Dialogues interview that as a child his insatiable curiosity was constantly getting him in trouble. A high school basketball star, Rose entered Duke University intending to pursue a degree with a pre-med track, but an internship in the office of Democratic North Carolina Senator B. Everett Jordan got him interested in politics. Rose graduated in 1964 with a bachelor's degree in history. At Duke, he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. He earned a Juris Doctor from the Duke University School of Law in 1968. He met his wife, Mary (King), while attending Duke.

Watch us recreate the INTERSTELLAR black hole with all "In-Camera" elements. I've been looking forward to seeing INTERSTELLAR for some time now, and figured this would be a very timely & fun topic to tackle. "The black hole featured in Christopher Nolan's newest film is a simulation of unprecedented accuracy." Wired Magazine Astrophysicist Kip Thorne provided the visual effects team at Double Negative the data and equations they needed to create a scientifically correct black hole. Also, I was lucky enough to hangout with Christopher Nolan at last years SLAMDANCE film festival. I was on the Jury and we were both backstage as he was waiting to receive the "Founder's Award". (we are both Alums) Oh how I wanted to show him all the silly "In-Camera" effects that we create but just ...

Wrap it up in Ziploc, back it up and twirl
Send money to the pent. Mac and C be home soon

I could never fall off, I'm the "Ghetto Bill" Gates
[Chorus]
[Verse 2]: Curren$y
These lil' niggas can't take it anymore
I push through the club iced out, low key with my P. Miller galore

It's Curren$y the motherfuckin' rookie of the year

And a truck with some rims that's bigger than Ferris wheels, holla
[Chorus]
[Verse 3]: Krazy

The hoe that you tongue kissin' used to be my bitch
For these sayin' they'll slay a nigga, they called pricks
And this brown shit I'm sniffin' nigga, it got me sick
And this big truck I'm pushin', nigga, my tight whip
With a chop of lead on the seat, that'll make you flip
My alias, believe me, Doc Holliday
If it's beef, I'm like AIDS, I'll never go away
[Chorus]
[Verse 4]: Master P

[Chorus]
[Verse 5]: T-Bo

Some cop cars keep passin' I promise y'all they not lost

Go braggin' to them hatin' bitches, find how much ya watch cost
Loose lips, sank ships, bitch, so watch what you sayin'

Ain't this a bitch, I just got off probation
[Chorus]
[Verse 6]: Magic

Now I'm on two birds I'ma flip (one more time)
And I'ma cop the bitch you left behind
(I'm tryin', I'm hustlin') don't trust me when I'm broke
