Cookie policy

About this policy

On May 26th 2012 a new EU originated law came into effect, which is an amended privacy legislation requiring websites to obtain informed consent from visitors before they can store or retrieve any information on a computer or any other web connected device.

This policy complies with this regulation.

Important note: restricting cookies will impact on the functionality of this website.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files which are stored on a user's computer.
They are designed to hold a small amount of data about your actions on the website, and are used to help the web server to deliver a page tailored to a particular user. For example, a common use for a cookie is to remember that you have signed in to a website, so you don't have to sign in every time you go to another page. The cookie tells the website you have signed in, but because cookies are totally anonymous it doesn't record your username or password: simply the fact that you have signed in.
None of the cookies deployed by this website are shared with any other organisation.

How to control and delete cookies

This website will not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information about you. However, if you wish to restrict or block the cookies which are set by this website (or indeed any other website) you can do this through your browser settings. The Help function within your browser should tell you how.

Alternatively, you may wish to visit www.aboutcookies.org which contains comprehensive information on how to do this on a wide variety of browsers. You will also find details on how to delete cookies from your computer as well as more general information about cookies. For information on how to do this on the browser of your mobile phone you will need to refer to your handset manual.
