A title-less nametag for Ivanka Trump at a White House event was just the canvas Twitter needed for asking: what exactly does Ivanka Trump do?
The daughter of the US President Donald Trump hosted an anti-human trafficking event at the White House on Wednesday, where one keen-eyed observer on Twitter noticed there was something different about her nametag.
"The White House staffer in charge of printing out these things doesn't know what Ivanka does either," joked Twitter user @dorseyshaw, posting a picture which showed that, while everyone else present at the table had their job listed under their name, Ivanka's had been left blank.

Others were quick to make fun of the image.

SMH so disrespectful. It should say "Assistant to the regional manager" https://t.co/k3uMfkhrbP

Some even decided to try to fill the gap for her.

While a couple of people noted that the real winner of the photo was Democratic senator Amy Klobuchar.

Ivanka Trump serves as an unpaid adviser for her father.
In late March, it was announced that she would become a federal employee, following concerns that she had received too much power (the fashion designer had accompanied her father into meetings with foreign heads of state and has an office in the White House) for someone not officially employed by the US government.
