Edmonds in Bloom’s Kids Plant for Mom’s Day: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 13 at the Edmonds Farmers Market, Fifth Avenue and Bell Street; www.edmondsinbloom.com. Children decorate and plant pots with the help of volunteers. A $10 donation for materials is requested.
Everett Garden Club: Plant sale, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 13, at the corner of 52nd Street SE and Evergreen Way in Everett; 425-238-7649. Vegetable and plant starts, container gardens, ground covers, yard art and Mother’s Day gifts. Garden experts will be available to answer questions. Proceeds go to community projects.
