The lessons we can all take from Harry's styles

From clashing prints and daring accessories to wearing women's clothing, Harry Styles is defining a new era of androgynous fashion. And there are a style lessons we can all embrace.

The 23-year-old also knows how to pare back his looks, donning black on black in many instances. This gives him the opportunity to play with textures and silhouettes, with Harry often wearing velvet and satin tops and blazers with a smart boot, black jeans and dress jewellery. As part of his official press to launch his eponymous album, Styles spoke to Rolling Stone Magazine about fashion, his career and relationships. In the accompanying photo shoot shot by Theo Wenner, the star possesses a '70s rockstar vibe, channeling the androgynous fashions of Prince, Jagger and Bowie (two of his influences) into a new era. The star has been rocking a lot of daring Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and in this picture he wears an Alexander McQueen jacquard floral suit. Style note: Power florals are definitely a thing. Perhaps taking style tips from Melania Trump, Harry has also adopted the pussy-bow shirt. In the era of 'Millennial Pink', some have argued that Harry blurring the line between men's and women's wear is ushering in a new wave of gender neutral dressing. From dog collars, to fluffy jackets and unbuttoned Jagger-esque shirts, Harry Styles' Another Man covers ushered in his new fashion era, and if there is anything we can learn, it is to be yourself when it comes to expressing yourself in fashion. Button-up shirts are also a staple in Styles wardrobe, with a few left undone for an effortless look. Harry often pairs loud shirts, including leopard and Hawaiian prints, with black pants, versatile boots and statement accessories including bags and large metal jewellery.
