Job vacancy

The Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring (CEM) is looking to appoint a full-time Senior Research Associate with an established track-record of successfully winning and managing research projects. This is a post for a three year fixed term period within a successful, well-established University research centre with close links to the School of Education. The post will involve working within CEM’s Research Leadership Group to strategically direct the future of our educational research, build strong relationships with potential collaborators and funders, lead bids for research contracts and evaluations, and manage complex research projects.

We are looking to appoint a self-motivated and experienced individual with an interest in helping to improve children’s learning outcomes to provide research expertise and leadership, bid for new work, manage research projects, and write academic publications. Many research projects now involve partnering with other university departments and outside agencies, therefore the post-holder will be required to network and liaise with research staff from other departments within Durham and external organisations.

Closing Date: 14 June 2017 (Midday).
