State farm can refer to:
State Farm is an American group of insurance and financial services companies in the United States.
The group's main business is State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, a mutual insurance firm that also owns the other State Farm companies. The corporate headquarters are in Bloomington, Illinois.
State Farm is ranked 44th in the 2013 Fortune 500, which lists American companies by revenue.
In 2014, the company sold its operations in Canada to Desjardins Group, which is continuing to use the State Farm name.
State Farm was founded in 1922 by retired farmer George J. Mecherle as a mutual automobile insurance company owned by its policyholders. The firm specialized in auto insurance for farmers, and later expanded its services into other types of insurance, such as homeowners and life insurance, and to banking and financial services.
The State Farm jingle ("Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there") was written by American songwriter Barry Manilow in 1971. A cover was released by Weezer in 2011. In the 1960's State Farm's first commerical jingle was originally created for The Jack Benny Program.
State may refer to:
A farm is an area of land that is devoted primarily to agricultural processes with the primary objective of producing food and other crops; it is the basic facility in food production. The name is used for specialised units such as arable farms, vegetable farms, fruit farms, dairy, pig and poultry farms, and land used for the production of natural fibres, biofuel and other commodities. It includes ranches, feedlots, orchards, plantations and estates, smallholdings and hobby farms, and includes the farmhouse and agricultural buildings as well as the land. In modern times the term has been extended so as to include such industrial operations as wind farms and fish farms, both of which can operate on land or sea.
Farming originated independently in different parts of the world as hunter gatherer societies transitioned to food production rather than food capture. It may have started about 12,000 years ago with the domestication of livestock in the Fertile Crescent in western Asia, soon to be followed by the cultivation of crops. Modern units tend to specialise in the crops or livestock best suited to the region, with their finished products being sold for the retail market or for further processing, with farm products being traded around the world.
"Let Me" is a song written by Marc Beeson and Danny Orton, and recorded by American country music singer Pat Green. It was released in June 2008 as the lead-off single from his album What I'm For, which was released on January 27, 2009. The song peaked at #12 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, becoming his second highest-charting single, behind 2003's "Wave on Wave", which peaked at #3.
"Let Me" is a mid-tempo ballad in which the narrator promises to offer emotional support to the one that he loves.
Describing the song in a cut-by-cut synopsis of the album on Sony BMG Nashville's website, Green said that he liked the melody of the chorus (which contains multiple repetitions of the same note). He also said that the song drew his attention because it was a love song that did not explicitly use the word "love".
The song received a "thumbs down" review from the country music site Engine 145. Reviewer Brady Vercher criticized the song for being overproduced and trying to "garner radio success than pushing both [Green's and the producer's] boundaries to create something worthwhile." He also thought that vocally, Green got "lost" in the song and was unable to add any personality to the delivery.Washington Post critic Chris Richards said that Green's vocal delivery did not "sit right" in the "slow-burn" of the song, and Joey Guerra of the Houston Chronicle called it "stock country loverboy stuff."

A man going through his daily routine is continually beset by thoughts of all the world's people and animals in need of help. Whether he's riding the subway, browsing Facebook, watching TV or just strolling down the sidewalk, he is followed by the specters of dogs looking for a home, veterans who need support, students lacking educational opportunities and polar bears threatened by the changing climate. The man realizes that there are some problems that can't be fixed by liking a page on Facebook. Eventually, he finds himself in front of a youth outreach center and decides to alleviate the "weight of caring" by going inside and lending his assistance. State Farm urges people to look for ways to volunteer in their communities at its Neighborhood of Good website.

What is something that is inherently good but could be a lot better? Ice cream! We were able to literally add the flavor to this spot. Why have one scoop when you can have three? After tests with getting real ice-cream to fall perfectly, it was decided that the only way to have control was to create the ice-cream in CG. This allowed for art direction on exactly where everything landed. It turned out to be a nice balance of realism and design.

We were asked to create a multi-platform marketing campaign for State Farm aimed at a more youthful and urban demographic. We teamed with Sanders\Wingo to create a family of broadcast commercials, web and digital marketing assets. By using street slang and synonyms, the campaign became a fun play-on-words. The type was designed for maximum personality and partnered with strong photography in a confident, humorous and unexpected approach to selling insurance. In an industry that is often perceived as stuffy, we created a campaign that truly stands out. More info at http://www.eyeballnyc.com/#/work/view_all/statefarm_campaign
