A Perth driver has been hit with a $50 fine for driving too slow in the right-hand lane while travelling on Tonkin Highway on Tuesday morning.
Gosnells police officers, who were travelling behind the driver, pulled the car over after realising they were doing 90 kilometres an hour in a 100 kilometre zone.
"In the right-hand lane, doing 90, with one of these behind you (a police car), not overtaking... you'll be getting a ticket," WA Police Traffic tweeted.
The fine comes two months after another Perth driver copped a similar fine for driving in the right hand lane on the same highway in Champion Lakes, east of Perth.
Their excuse?
"I was driving in the lane I always do."

According to the Road Safety Commission, on multi-lane roads where the speed limit is 90 kilometres an hour or more you must drive in the left lane.
On these roads you can only drive in the right hand lane if:
- You're turning right or making a U-turn;
- You are overtaking;
- The left lane is a special purpose lane, e.g. bus lane, bicycle lane;
- The left lane is a turning lane and you are going straight ahead;
- You're avoiding an obstruction; and
- The other lanes are congested with traffic.
