Welcome to the 2017 Australia’s Top Restaurants Awards, presented by Qantas and - uniquely - decided by chefs and restaurateurs.

Here’s how it works: First, our expert team of Good Food Guide editors compiles a list of the top 500 restaurants in Australia (see below). Each restaurant then votes for 10 of their peers on the list, resulting in the annual rankings of Australia’s Top 100 Restaurants, to be announced on June 19 at a gala event at The Star, Sydney and published in The Australian Financial Review on June 20.
