From The Bodyguard parodying poster to the Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson starring trailer, The Hitman’s Bodyguard looks a whole lot of fun.
Directed by The Expendables 3’s Patrick Hughes, the action-comedy sees the two A-listers share quips as they work together to defeat Gary Oldman. Yes, really.
With a cast also including Salma Hayek, Richard E. Grant, and Daredevil’s Élodie Yung, the film has some great talent behind it. Watch the UK trailer below.
The official synopses reads: “The Hitman’s Bodyguard is an action comedy about the world’s top protection agent (Ryan Reynolds) and his new client: a notorious hitman (Samuel L. Jackson). They’ve been on opposite ends of a bullet for years but now must come together for 24 hours to get from England to The Hague. The only thing standing in their way is the murderous dictator (Gary Oldman) who uses his power to create trouble for the pair at every stop along their way.”
