Train bombs devastate Mumbai
Terrorists, who struck overnight, chose their targets well to maximise the carnage. Seven bombs went off almost simultaneously as commuters packed onto trains during the evening rush hour in India's financial capital of Mumbai. The carriages were blown apart by the explosions. Television images showed bloodied body parts amongst the wreckage. More than 170 people are feared dead and more than 400 injured, some of them critically. Edmond Roy reports. Read Now
Haneef court information incorrect, source says
AM has learnt that some of the information presented in the case against Gold Coast doctor Mohammed Haneef may have been incorrect. In Brisbane, the court was told that Haneef's SIM card was found in the car that was smashed into Glasgow airport. But it seems the facts are not as they were presented in the court. Read Now

Israel strikes Beirut in attempt to crush Hezbollah
The word "strife" is synonymous with the Middle East, but at the moment things are going from bad to worse. Everywhere governments are worried about the consequences of what's happening to the north and south of Israel. Israel's military campaign is being waged on two fronts, the first to its north against the Iranian backed Shiite militia, Hezbollah, operating out of Lebanon; the other is to the south against Hamas in the Palestinian territory of the Gaza Strip.
