Works perfectly on ios, android and with Chromecast. The dynamic resolution has been almost flawless for me. It was even watchable on our old max 5mbs ADSL line. The content seems to have a decent range, but is padded with a lot of junk that you've seen on tv for the last 10 years too. Stan's only real niche seems to be lbgt content, not what I'm after unfortunately. Stan does OK on Australian content too. I would love more sci-fi as I feel it's really undercatered for here. Definitely worth a trial for anyone interested.

Awesome. Best watched via chromecast, which works flawless (unless you have crap internet, which i think half of the people that are rating it 1 star here have junk internet, get cable or nbn - not mobile or broadband). Flawless loading, great buffering and smooth as butter. Not to mention, the shows they are getting and putting up there are awesome. Hope you get The Grand Tour (and not foxtel). Keep up the awesome work and content guys.

So so buggy! This app has helped me in my decision wether or not I continue my subscription with Stan, I won't! This app gives me nothing but trouble and my internet is sound. I am lucky to get a whole episode out of it without freezing let alone getting the app to open! It constantly gives me different error codes and stops me from opening the app. I'll save my money and stick to Netflix thanks

The app has a lot of problems Awesome selection of shows and new movies, however the visuals keeps freezing while the audio continues normally. My internet connection is really fast, so that cannot be the issue. When I watch on the Netflix app I have no problems at all, only the Stan app. Additionally, I find that I sometimes cant actually get a show to open/load. Anyone else having these issues?

The only real suggestion I have is to include a popularity ratings metric so that I don't have to research around.

Lenovo Y23-X50F Started to come up with to many devices using it even though it's just my tablet. It use to work just fine have now cancelled my account because I can't play anything anymore :(

Would be great to level the field and have Stan app natively on Android Nexus, Android TVs, at moment streaming from S7 and seems to drop out and reset randomly....? Which is frustrating and not pleasant. Enjoying the content, compared to other I ranking them equal at the moment tbh.

I am watching at home, on an NBN connection, so I think I can safely say the point of error is the app. Hopefully my subscription fees can be directed towards stabilising the mobile app!

Well, the Android app version is no doubt, very pleasing to use. But the web and other platforms version like PS4 are so disappointing. So yeah 1 star
Video Playback is still lagging and freezing. Audio works fine, but the video playback is aweful. Very frustrating!

Hey Steve, to sign-up to Stan's 30-day free trial, please visit stan.com.au. Get Netflix instead Dishonest company. I subscribed because they advertised having 2 seasons of a show I was watching. When I tried watching second season, it was a trailer. I emailed them about it and they replied 'We count the trailer as a season'. A trailer is not a season you lying a$$holes.
Rubbish Used to work fine, but now every time I try to play something it says too many people are watching even though it's only me. Logging out of all other devices and reinstalling the app doesn't fix it. Keep getting the same error multiple times before app crashes.

Hey there, our support team would like to look into this for you, can you contact us via bit.ly/StanHelp? While the service is fine, the implementation of the app leaves a few things to be desired. I'm fascinated by what the rationale might be behind the main UI layout and structure. Just as Netflix pioneered it, it hardly feels like the most efficient way to discover shows. My biggest issue though is with the playback controls, or rather the lack thereof. It's a pain to control while playing via Chromecast. Skip or jump back/forward is the minimum of like to see... and why switch to landscape mode? It's awful UX. Netflix has made some improvements in this area. Please, either innovate a bit or just copy that as well.
On my LG smart tv i watch a show and it finishes and it's a black screen on my tv can't go back to main menu or the title i just watched have to restart stan which is anoying please fix this issue up asap. Also you should add start from the beginning of movie or tv show and also download a movie or tv show so you can watch it offline and add some more tv shows and movies with some tv shows your really behind in their seasons.

Hey there Lauren, our support team would like to look into this for you, can you contact us via bit.ly/StanHelp? Generally an alright app. However, just a couple of issues: 1.) "Are you still there?" freezes up from time to time, and also doesn't make it clear how you're meant to confirm you're still watching your show. Why not add a "continue" button or something? Seems like a pretty obvious feature. 2.) Similar to number one, there's no next/previous buttons, so you have to go into the show's root directory to pick the next episode.

Simple & Easy Great to navigate and easy to find what I'm looking for, or just browse different things I might be interested in. After previously using Netflix for years and a few other streaming services, I regret not getting it sooner!
Terrible No settings options to select quality, got told too many people watching with the first thing I tried to play and haven't actually managed to have a show load yet.
