If trophies could talk, then Samuel Johnson's Silver Logie would have one heck of a story to tell.
The Molly star - who snapped up not one, but two gongs at this year's Logie Awards - recently donated one of his trophies to a Brunswick pub so that the bearded denizens of Melbourne's inner north would dig deep for he and his sister's cancer charity.
Media mogul Rupert Murdoch's two youngest daughters, Grace, 15, and Chloe, 13, are set to inherit a share of one of the greatest fortunes ever amassed in the world. Andrew Hornery investigates.
Famed Chanel fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld's Choupette is one of the most famous cats in the world, now she's available as a $739 plush toy accessory.
The actor who also won an award for his role as Molly Meldrum was joined on stage by the iconic music journalist.
However, the Logie vanished on Wednesday evening after two men asked to take a photo with it. Thankfully, police recovered the silver trophy a short time later.
Richard Kruk, the owner of The Brunswick Hotel, told Channel Nine the trophy disappeared "in a blink of an eye". The publican initially thought the theft was part of a prank, considering several people had pretended to run away with the trophy in previous photo opportunities.
"We got it back," he said. "It had a little bit of a break [from the pub] overnight - a sleepover at the police station - but it's back here safe and sound."

A police spokeswoman said authorities were called to The Brunswick Hotel about 8pm on Wednesday and didn't plan to take any further action.
Johnson had previously told the pub's staff they would have to donate 50 cents from every drink sold to the Love Your Sister campaign for the rest of their lives if the precious trinket was ever stolen. But Kruk told Fairfax Media it appears thieves were behind the trophy's disappearance as opposed to a cheeky patron who overheard the challenge.

"It was a serious thing," he said. "It did happen. [But] It's back now. Sam's happy, I'm happy."
Kruk said the silver Logie will likely be on display over the next week, with the pub already raising about a thousand dollars for the Love Your Sister campaign.
Johnson took home the Gold Logie at last month's awards, as well as a silver trophy for Best Actor, for his portrayal of Australia's most famous music journalist Molly Meldrum in the Seven Network's teledrama Molly.
At the time, Johnson credited his success to the love and support of sister, Connie, who is battling late-stage breast cancer and recently decided to end all treatment.
