The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the UN’s global development network, working in 177 countries and territories. In The Gambia, UNDP and the Government of The Gambia entered into a basic agreement to govern UNDP’s assistance to the country (Standard Basic Assistance Agreement – SBAA), which was signed by both parties on 24 February 1975.Read more
Our Goal
The ultimate goal of UNDP in The Gambia is to support the development efforts of the government of The Gambia through its Country Program Document and Country Programme Action Plan 2012-2016. This is a five year framework for mutual cooperation between the government of the Gambia and the UNDP. Read more
