On April 26, the Cassini spacecraft flew closer to Saturn than ever before — between the gap that separates the planet from its rings.
Since then, Cassini has been transmitting dozens of images of Saturn's surface. Here, NASA has compiled all the images into one, incredible video that reveals exactly what Cassini saw.
One of the sights that surprised scientists most was the sharp edges of Saturn's hexagon and its central vortex. Saturn's hexagon is a giant cloud system on Saturn's north pole, and it contains a central vortex.
The sharp edges scientists saw in these latest images suggests that the cloud system and its vortex are not mixing with their surroundings. But what's preventing the clouds in the hexagon from mixing with the clouds right next to it is a mystery.
This first dive marked the beginning of the end for Cassini. For the last 13 years, Cassini has explored Saturn and its moons. But its time will come to an end this September, when it will enter Saturn's atmosphere and burn up.

This is a personal project. I wanted to make some infinite loops for istockphoto and I wanted to make a paper shader. The finished clips are actually only 4-5 seconds long but they can go on for ever. Then I felt like putting it all together for a little.. Mindfulness-short.

Game Grumps
Game Grumps is a Let's Play webseries starring animator Arin Hanson and musician Leigh Daniel Avidan, also known as "Danny Sexbang," from the musical comedy duo Ninja Sex Party. The show was created on July 10, 2012 by Hanson and comedic video game critic Jon "JonTron" Jafari. Jafari left the show in June 2013 to focus on his primary YouTube channel JonTron, and was subsequently replaced by Avidan. The channel also expanded to include new hosts in spin-offs: animator Ross O'Donovan, series editor Barry Kramer, and Suzy "Mortemer" Berhow, the group's manager and Hanson's wife. Additionally appearing in some, but few, episodes is the new primary editor of the show, Kevin Abernathy, as well as their newest member Brian "Ninja Brian" Wecht, the other half of Ninja Sex Party. Game Grumps was a part of Polaris, a network owned by Maker Studios, a subsidiary of Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media division of The Walt Disney Company. They left the network in January of 2016.

Directed by Daniel Leeb of Cinecycle Productions. This short film features Alfred Bobe Jr. and Fatimah Durkee. The film spins a visual ballad between the two cyclists experiencing the city in their own unique ways. Both cyclists are city dwellers who amidst the chaos of the concrete jungle have created a private and peaceful psychological space as they traverse the streets. They are both alone and yet they are both very much aware of each others presence. The film speaks to the harmony with one's environment that can be found while riding a bicycle in a city and the synchronistic connection we can have with those we have not even met. The short was commissioned by Hutchinson tires. -

It's paper
This is a personal project. I wanted to make some infinite loops for istockphoto and I wanted to make a paper shader. The finished clips are actually only 4-5 seconds long but they can go on for ever. Then I felt like putting it all together for a little.. Mindfulness-short. Everything is straight out of cinema4d. It's Your Ride
Directed by Daniel Leeb of Cinecycle Productions. This short film features Alfred Bobe Jr. and Fatimah Durkee. The film spins a visual ballad between the two cyclists experiencing the city in their own unique ways. Both cyclists are city dwellers who amidst the chaos of the concrete jungle have created a private and peaceful psychological space as they traverse the streets. They are both alone and yet they are both very much aware of each others presence. The film speaks to the harmony with one's environment that can be found while riding a bicycle in a city and the synchronistic connection we can have with those we have not even met. The short was commissioned by Hutchinson tires.

On April 26, the Cassini spacecraft flew closer to Saturn than ever before — between the gap that separates the planet from its rings.
Since then, Cassini has been transmitting dozens of images of Saturn's surface. Here, NASA has compiled all the images into one, incredible video that reveals exactly what Cassini saw.
One of the sights that surprised scientists most was the sharp edges of Saturn's hexagon and its central vortex. Saturn's hexagon is a giant cloud system on Saturn's north pole, and it contains a central vortex.
The sharp edges scientists saw in these latest images suggests that the cloud system and its vortex are not mixing with their surroundings. But what's preventing the clouds in the hexagon from mixing with the clouds right next to it is a mystery.
This first dive marked the beginning of the end for Cassini. For the last 13 years, Cassini has explored Saturn and its moons. But its time will come to an end this September, when it will enter Saturn's atmosphere and burn up.

This is a personal project. I wanted to make some infinite loops for istockphoto and I wanted to make a paper shader. The finished clips are actually only 4-5 seconds long but they can go on for ever. Then I felt like putting it all together for a little.. Mindfulness-short.

Both cyclists are city dwellers who amidst the chaos of the concrete jungle have created a private and peaceful psychological space as they traverse the streets. They are both alone and yet they are both very much aware of each others presence. The film speaks to the harmony with one's environment that can be found while riding a bicycle in a city and the synchronistic connection we can have with those we have not even met. The short was commissioned by Hutchinson tires.
