Description

FileBot is the ultimate tool for organizing and renaming Movies, TV Shows, Anime or Music. It's smart, highly customizable, and just works. If you're using HTPC software like Plex or Kodi then FileBot is a must-have utility! FileBot will match your files against TheMovieDB or TheTVDB and then rename (or move / copy / symlink / hardlink) them exactly the way you want it. Anything is possible! If you need help extracting archives en masse or checking SFV / MD5 / SHA1 / SHA256 files then FileBot will get that done too. Getting Started: Organize your media files: 1. Drag media files onto "Original Files" 2. Click "Fetch Data" and select a database 3. Hit "Rename"! Still having trouble? Visit us at www.filebot.net and have a look at the FAQ and Forums. Much better now!

My previous experience with moving to the Win 10 version of FileBot was frustrating so I stuck with the stand-alone version and it was so good I didn't mind having paid for it here. Trying this version again now after more updates, and the recent update to Windows, FileBot now behaves exactly as I'd expect. No more random errors when using to rename or move across a network at all. (thumbs up) Well worth my money.

19.99 was a bit much but it does what it needs to do

I was on the fence about spending 20 bucks just to organize my movies folder for plex. I used theRenamer for a while before but now it seems to crash. After looking around and seeing almost no other options I decided to purchase this. It does what it suppose to but as a UWP developer myself I know that the size of over 200MB is a bit much and the UI/UX could be more simple. I think I may try to compete with you and create my own app. :)

Modern packages (appx, snap, docker, etc) include all dependencies which blow up the application size. It's to make sure that things just work reliably out of the box for everyone. Thanks to delta updates, only the initial install will require a "large" 80 MB download. Subsequent updates will be less than 2 MB because the Window Store will only download the bits and pieces that have changed.

Essential for big media libraries .

I use this every time I add something to my video library. It makes it simple to rename large quantities of files in a plex friendly format. It's easy to set the format, so I'm sure it will handle whatever works best for you and your library!

Great for naming those pesky TV series

I've started digitizing my collection of DVDs, and found that the TV shows were the worst to work with. So many episodes per disk, with hundreds of episodes per series in some cases. This has saved me literally days of time otherwise spent naming each and every files. Well worth the cost!

Filebot is totally amazing

Started using this to manage PLEX and I honestly stay amazed at what it does for me. I can't calculate the tons of hours it would take me to manually do the research, type in the file names in the perfect way, and all the rest. Filebot does a superb job in just moments, start to finish.

Great at what it does - why no auto update?

It does what it is supposed to do. Super annoying that it doesn't auto-update, you have to find it in the windows store and re-download it again and re-install :\

All applications in the Windows Store get updates automatically.
