Dr. Rakesh Sinha is a Consultant Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgeon. His endoscopic career spans two decades. He is the President of the Indian Association of Gynecological Endoscopy (2009-2011).
In the past he has been a Consultant Gynaecologist at the Bombay Hospital, Leelavati Hospital, Sir H.N. Hospital and Bhatia General Hospital. He is the Managing Director of Beams Hospitals – a chain of Minimal Access Surgery Hospitals in India which he co-founded with his wife Dr. Manju Sinha. Having done his Masters in Gynaecology from the Bombay University with second rank, he went to the Christian Albrechts University of Kiel, Germany to train for a Diploma in gynaecological endoscopic surgery. He also did a Post Doctorate Clinical Fellowship in Endoscopy at the Royal Free Hospital in London (1993-1994). He is a Guinness World Record Holder for 2 records - one, for having removed the largest fibroid weighing 3.4 kgs. laparoscopically and second for having taken out the largest uterus weighing 4.1 kg laparoscopically. He is a 4 times International Marathon runner having completed 42.195 km each time.
Jack Canfield (born August 19, 1944) is an American motivational speaker and author. He is best known as the co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series, which currently has nearly 200 titles and 112 million copies in print in over 40 languages. According to USA Today, Chicken Soup for the Soul and several of the series titles by Canfield and his writing partner, Mark Victor Hansen, were among the top 150 best-selling books of the last 15 years (October 28, 1993 through October 23, 2008).
In July 2004, Jack Canfield founded the Transformational Leadership Council, a group of thought leaders, speakers, authors, coaches, trainers, researchers, consultants, and other leaders in the fields of personal and professional development. The members of TLC meet semi-annually to network, connect, and learn from each other, to enhance members' effectiveness and contribution in the world. So far, semi-annual meetings have been held in USA, Canada, Bermuda and Mexico. As of January 2012, membership numbered 120.
R. Madhavan (born 1 June 1970) is an Indian actor, writer, film producer and television host. Madhavan has received a Filmfare Award, an award from the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards alongside recognition and nominations from other organisations. He has been described as one of the few actors in India who is able to achieve pan-Indian appeal, appearing in films from seven different languages.
Madhavan began his acting career with television guest appearances, including a role on the Zee TV prime-time soap opera Banegi Apni Baat in 1996. After appearing in commercials and in small roles, he later gained recognition as the husband going through the traumas of his marriage in Mani Ratnam's successful romantic film Alaipayuthey (2000). Madhavan soon developed an image as a romantic hero with notable roles in two of 2001's biggest grossers, Gautham Menon's directorial debut Minnale and Madras Talkies' Dumm Dumm Dumm. He worked with Ratnam again in the critically acclaimed 2002 film Kannathil Muthamittal playing the father of an adopted girl, whilst he enjoyed commercial success with his role in Linguswamy's action film, Run (2002).
Yukta Mookhey (born 7 October 1979) is an Indian model and actress. She was crowned Miss World in December 1999 at the Olympia theatre in London at the age of 20.
Mookhey's family is from northern India, but she and her family lived in the Middle East until Mookhey was seven years of age. The Mookhey family migrated back to Mumbai in June 1986. runs a personal and professional grooming consulting firm in Mumbai, while her father was a clothing company director and currently trades in stocks as a hobby. Mookhey studied zoology at V.G. Vaze college prior to winning the Miss World competition. Mookhey has a diploma in computer sciences and has studied Hindustani classical music. Mookhey is an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and engages herself in social and charitable causes.
Yukta and Prince Tulli were engaged on September 7, 2008 at the Grand Maratha in Mumbai. Prince is the son of Bacchitar Singh Tuli and Harinder Kaur Tuli. The marriage, held on November 2, 2008, was a traditional 'Sikh' ceremony in a Nagpur Gurudwara followed by a reception the same evening. They have one son together.
Manoj Kumar (born Harikrishna Giri Goswami on 24 July 1937) is an award-winning Indian actor and director in the Bollywood film industry. He is known for acting in and directing films with patriotic themes, and has been given the nickname "Mr Bharat" (Bhaarat is the Hindi term for India). In 1992, he was honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of India.
Manoj Kumar was born in Abbottabad, a town of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, then part of India. Abbottabad is now located within the borders of Pakistan. His original name was Harikishan Giri Goswami. When he was 10, his Gosain Hindu family had to move to Delhi owing to partition. His family lived as refugees in Vijay Nagar, Kingsway Camp and later moved to Patel Nagar area of New Delhi.
After graduating from Hindu College, University of Delhi, he decided to enter the film industry.
As a youth, he admired Bollywood superstar Dilip Kumar, and decided to name himself Manoj Kumar after Dilip's character in Shabnam (1949).
After making a little-noticed début in Fashion in 1957, Manoj landed his first leading role in Kaanch Ki Gudia (1960) opposite Sayeeda Khan. Piya Milan Ki Aas and Reshmi Roomal followed, setting the stage for the Vijay Bhatt-directed Hariyali Aur Raasta (1962) opposite Mala Sinha. Kumar then appeared with Sadhana in Raj Khosla's Woh Kaun Thi (1964), and reunited with Vijay Bhatt and Mala Sinha in Himalaya Ki God Mein (1965).
