How the West Was One, released in 1977, is a three-LP live album featuring 2nd Chapter of Acts, Phil Keaggy and a band called David. The album was culled from a series of 18 concerts held throughout the western United States in 1977. It was also 2nd Chapter of Acts' final release for Myrrh Records.
Half the album (sides 1, 5 and 6) was performed by 2nd Chapter of Acts and half by Phil Keaggy. The two artists backed each other up throughout. Besides material from previous albums by both artists, the album features two songs from Annie Herring's first solo album (Through a Child's Eyes) and three otherwise unavailable songs (one each by Keaggy, Ward with Souther, and Herring).
How the West Was One is the debut album by rap duo, Cali Agents. It was released on June 13, 2000 for Ground Control Records and featured production from Paul Nice, His-Panik, M-Boogie, Madlib, R'Kasha, Protest, Memo, 427 and Roddy Rod. The album itself did not make it to any Billboard charts, but a single entitled "Good Life" made it to #36 on the Hot Rap Singles.
The January 2001 issue of The Source named the Cali Agents’ LP as one of the top six independent records of the year for 2000. The album has sold over 50,000 copies without any major distribution.
In May 2004, Rasco's Pockets Linted records re-released the album with bonus tracks.

How the West Was One is an EP by the band Carbon Leaf that was released on their own label, Constant Ivy Music. It is the band's first release since announcing on March 20, 2010 in a radio interview on WCNR that they were leaving Vanguard Records with the aim to release music more frequently and via media other than CD. Recording for the EP was completed in June 2010 and it was released on July 6, 2010 for purchase at concerts and on July 20 for purchase from their website.
On July 13 Shawn Stewart of the radio station 103.7 the mountain released on her blog an email from Terry Clark that was directed to friends and family which contained links to download the EP for free. Soon thereafter she received a request from Barry Privett, the lead singer, to remove the links.
All songs written and composed by Carbon Leaf.
Cho Yong-Jin (Korean: 조용진), famously known as Ali (stylized as ALi), is a South Korean singer-songwriter famous for her work on Korean pop music in the early twenty-first century. Her stage name is a motif from Muhammad Ali. This is so that it can be engraved easily by the masses. Following her debut in 2009, she is primarily known for her strong vocals and her time as a contestant on the KBS program Immortal Songs 2.
Following her debut in 2009, she had already gained fame for her appearances on music shows, most notably Immortal Songs 2 on KBS2. She also worked as a professor in applied musical arts at the Seoul Technical Arts College.
ALi released her first album SOULri in December 2011 which was strangely two years after her official debut. One released track, "Na Young", garnered immediate controversy as its lyrics referenced a case of sexual assault that had been a very public case in South Korea, with many detractors criticizing the song to be insensitive to its subject. ALi would later address this controversy by revealing that she herself was a survivor of sexual assault.

If I could see the western sky for the first time
If I could hold that horizon in my hand
If I could hold her close again before the wedding
If I could fall in love for the first time
If I could only let it go and start again
If I could write to my first love for the last time
What harm could it do?
A new age has begun
A new age has begun
If I could see that western sky for the first time
If I could hold that horizon in my hand
If I could sponge back the (pain) between two lovers lost
If I could fall in love again for the first time
If I could only let it go and start again
If I could pull the weeds of regret from a choking heart
What harm could it do?
A new age has begun
A new age has begun
A new age
When I see that western sky for the last time
I will know for that for the first time I am done
(I will hang my head down out on the prairie)
A new age has begun
When I see that western sky for the last time
I will know for that for the first time I am done
I will cleanse my dusty hands out in the twilight
A new age has begun
A new age has begun
A new age has begun
A new age has begun
A new age has begun
A new age had begun
