ReBoot is a Canadian CGI-animated action-adventure cartoon series that originally aired from 1994 to 2001. It was produced by Vancouver-based production company Mainframe Entertainment, Alliance Communications, BLT Productions and created by Gavin Blair, Ian Pearson, Phil Mitchell and John Grace, with the visuals designed by Brendan McCarthy after an initial attempt by Ian Gibson.
It was the first half-hour, completely computer-animated TV series.
Reruns of the first three seasons can be seen in Canada on Teletoon Retro, and the first two seasons are available on Netflix's streaming service in the US.

Hey everyone! Most of you have probably heard a thing or two about the Ben 10 Reboot, which premiered on Cartoon Network this year in a few countries. Unfortunately, it seems to be following the recent trend where reboots have been less serious than the source material, which is a very sad thing to see. So in today's video I am counting down my personal 10 least favorite things about the reboot. As I say in the video, I am not saying there is nothing good about it, however I have found so much that the original show does better than this one, that I thought I should break my silence about this new show and discuss what I don't like.

ReBoot
ReBoot is a Canadian-American CGI-animated action-adventure television series that originally aired from 1994 to 2001. It was produced by Vancouver-based production company Mainframe Entertainment, Alliance Communications, BLT Productions. The animated series was created by Gavin Blair, Ian Pearson, Phil Mitchell, and John Grace, with the visuals designed by Brendan McCarthy after an initial attempt by Ian Gibson.
It was the first half-hour, completely computer-animated TV series.
The series follows the adventures of a Guardian named Bob and his companions Enzo and Dot Matrix as they work to keep the computer system of Mainframe safe from the viruses known as Megabyte and Hexadecimal.
A sequel series, ReBoot: The Guardian Code, is in production as of 2015.
Background
ReBoot initially was conceived in 1980 by the British creative collective The Hub, made up of John Grace, Ian Pearson, Gavin Blair, and Phil Mitchell. The latter two moved to Vancouver to develop the series there. Pearson and Blair by this time had created some of the first widely seen CGI characters, in the Dire Straits music video "Money for Nothing". However, technology was not yet advanced enough to make the show in the desired way. 3D animation tests began in earnest in 1990 and ReBoot had achieved its detailed look by 1991. Production continued on future episodes and the show aired in 1994 after enough episodes had been produced. This was a painstaking process, as no other company had at this time worked on a 3D animation project of this scale and the software used was new to all in the company.

The extraordinary adventures of life within a computer, as depicted in one of the world's first totally-computer-generated series. The riotous humour, infinitely-variable action and scenery, and intelligent use of every computer reference known, combine to produce a stunning universe where good constantly fights the forces of evil. Dot Matrix and her brother Enzo, plus thousands of friendly binomes, live in Mainframe, which is plagued by viruses Megabyte and sister strain Hexadecimal. Guardian Bob is sent from the Net to protect them, and soon makes it his home. Together, they must prevent Megabyte from taking control of all the systems. As an added complication, games being played by the mystical User invade the system regularly, and must be defeated, or else portions of the city are laid waste... This gives us a chance to see every genre of video-game ever conceived, from the point of view of the characters! When Megabyte finally manages to banish Bob, Enzo takes over as the city's Guardian, but things will never be quite the same...

Top 10 WORST Things in the Ben 10 Reboot
Hey everyone! Most of you have probably heard a thing or two about the Ben 10 Reboot, which premiered on Cartoon Network this year in a few countries. Unfortunately, it seems to be following the recent trend where reboots have been less serious than the source material, which is a very sad thing to see. So in today's video I am counting down my personal 10 least favorite things about the reboot. As I say in the video, I am not saying there is nothing good about it, however I have found so much that the original show does better than this one, that I thought I should break my silence about this new show and discuss what I don't like.
