A man and a woman have been killed after their car hit an embankment in Gingin on Saturday night.
WA Police spokeswoman Susan Usher said the crash occurred around 8.15pm, on Old Mooliabeenee Road.
It is understood the vehicle went through an intersection, hit an embankment and caught fire.
Weld Street at the intersection of Edwards Street, Old Mooliabeenee Road at the intersection of Mooliabeenee Road, and Cockram Road at the intersection of Honeycomb Road were all closed directly after the crash.
