Osaka (大阪市, Ōsaka-shi) (Japanese pronunciation: [oːsaka]; listen ) is a designated city in the Kansai region of Japan. It is the capital city of Osaka Prefecture and the largest component of the Keihanshin Metropolitan Area, the second largest metropolitan area in Japan and among the largest in the world with over 19 million inhabitants. Situated at the mouth of the Yodo River on Osaka Bay, Osaka is the second largest city by the daytime population after Tokyo's 23 wards and the third largest city by the nighttime population after Tokyo's 23 special wards and Yokohama in Japan, serving as a major economic hub.
Historically a merchant city, Osaka has also been known as the "nation's kitchen" (天下の台所, tenka no daidokoro) and served as a center for the rice trade during the Edo period.
Some of the earliest signs of human habitation in the Osaka area at the Morinomiya ruins (森ノ宮遺跡, Morinomiya iseki) comprise shell mounds, sea oysters and buried human skeletons from the 5th–6th centuries BC. It is believed that what is today the Uehonmachi area consisted of a peninsular land with an inland sea in the east. During the Yayoi period, permanent habitation on the plains grew as rice farming became popular.

Japan (i/dʒəˈpæn/; Japanese: 日本 Nippon [nip̚põ̞ɴ] or Nihon [nihõ̞ɴ]; formally 日本国 Nippon-koku or Nihon-koku, "State of Japan") is an island country in East Asia. Located in the Pacific Ocean, it lies to the east of the Sea of Japan, the East China Sea, China, North Korea, South Korea and Russia, stretching from the Sea of Okhotsk in the north to the East China Sea and Taiwan in the south. The kanji that make up Japan's name mean "sun origin", and Japan is often called the "Land of the Rising Sun".
Japan is a stratovolcanic archipelago of 6,852 islands. The four largest are Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Shikoku, which make up about ninety-seven percent of Japan's land area. Japan's population of 126 million is the world's tenth largest. Approximately 9.1 million people live in Tokyo, the capital city of Japan, which is the sixth largest city proper in the OECD. The Greater Tokyo Area, which includes Tokyo and several surrounding prefectures, is the world's largest metropolitan area with over 35 million residents and the world's largest urban agglomeration economy.

Street food is ready-to-eat food or drink sold by a hawker, or vendor, in a street or other public place, such as at a market or fair. It is often sold from a portable food booth, food cart, or food truck and meant for immediate consumption. Some street foods are regional, but many have spread beyond their region of origin. Most street foods are classed as both finger food and fast food, and are cheaper on average than restaurant meals. According to a 2007 study from the Food and Agriculture Organization, 2.5 billion people eat street food every day.
Today, people may purchase street food for a number of reasons, such as to get flavorful food for a reasonable price in a sociable setting, to experience ethnic cuisines, or for nostalgia.
Small fried fish were a street food in ancient Greece, however, Theophrastus held the custom of street food in low regard. Evidence of a large number of street food vendors were discovered during the excavation of Pompeii. Street food was widely consumed by poor urban residents of ancient Rome whose tenement homes did not have ovens or hearths. Here, chickpea soup with bread and grain paste were common meals. In ancient China, street food generally catered to the poor, however, wealthy residents would send servants to buy street food and bring it back for them to eat in their homes.

Ajay and Anjali pay the rental money to Narayanan and end up signing the same house. Unable to find another house to rent, the duo decide to stay together till they find Narayanan. They squabble and argue a lot, but soon Ajay falls in love with Anjali. However, he does not reveal her of his feelings. After taking her on a trip to his hometown, he realizes that she does not reciprocate his feelings. Soon, Ajay tracks down Narayanan (in a chance encounter earlier, Ajay pockets Narayanan's address from his wallet) and blames him for the misery in his life, because it was Narayanan's trickery that brought them together and now Ajay cannot live without her love. Narayanan decides to help Ajay and he visits the house under the pretense of being Ajay's friend "Billa". He tries to make Anjali fall for Ajay. Anjali's fiance Deepak (Rahul Ravindran) then gives Anjali a surprise visit, just as when she begins to enjoy Ajay's company. Narayanan continues to try to getting Ajay and Anjali together, but did not find success.

She is won by Okyto, a rich profligate, who takes her away with him to his summer palace, refusing to allow even her faithful servant, Suzi, to accompany her. Suzi tells Osaka of the marriage, and when he attempts to speak with her, he is rudely beaten off by Okyto's attendants. Osaka then goes' to Kobe and tells him that if harm comes to his daughter Miro, his life shall pay the forfeit. After reaching the palace with her husband, Okyto, Miro is treated shamefully. On one occasion, she is rudely pushed aside in favor of geisha girl. Miro flees into the garden and drops unconscious, where she is found by Suzi. Okyto presently seeks her and again handles her roughly. Osaka sees him, forces his way into the palace grounds, approaches him and a terrific struggle takes place between the two men. Osaka is victorious and leaves Okyto bleeding upon the ground. He then picks up Miro and carries her off, tries to revive her, and being unable to do so, be leaves her in the care of Suzi and goes to wreak his vengeance upon Kobe, whom he kills. While Osaka is away, Nikko, a peddler, whom he has befriended, comes op and by means of a powerful elixir, to which he holds the secret, restores Miro to consciousness. Osaka is known as Japan's kitchen and for good reason! It's loaded with some of the best and cheapest restaurants and street stands anywhere. Enter Dotonbori, the old entertainment district of Osaka that's also ground zero for cheap and easy to find street food. John Daub and Kevin Riley, a long-term resident of Osaka take their stomachs down the Dotonbori strip. We also introduce a very Osakan word: "Kuidaore" meaning eat until you drop! Street food on Dotonbori: ★ Takoyaki Called "octopus ball" by newbies to Japan, these round treats normally come topped with a tangy thick soy sauce, Japanese mayonaise, and dried fish and seaweed. Some shops go even further adding half boiled eggs or mountains of green negi! A bowl of 6 to 8 balls costs 380 to 450 Yen. Recommended shop: Creo-Ru Ta...

Osaka trip during the September of 2011. Went about my daily plans and stop by a few places to capture footage of this amazing country. The places visited are: Umeda Tempozan Harbor/Aquarium Universal Studios Dōtonbori Ebisubashi Bridge I picked Happy End's 'Kaze Wo Atsumete' to go with this video from the Soundtrack of Lost In Translation. As i always loved Sofia Coppola's interpretation of Japan. Filmed almost the entire video on a Canon 600D and it's Kit Lens. Only a scene or two with a 50mm 1.8. With a very trustworthy Gorillapod.

Kyoto, Japan, has long been considered one of the country’s most beautiful cities. Once the capital of the nation, Kyoto is now an ultra-modern haven that retains a great deal of its ancient charm. To see some of this long-established glamour, make your way to Kyoto Tower. Just two miles east of the tower is Gion, an entertainment quarter and home to many of Kyoto’s famous geishas. As you walk east through Gion, you’ll find even more old architecture, including several Ryokan, or traditional Japanese inns. Many date back to the Edo period, which ranged from 1603 to 1868. During your Kyoto tour, take a rickshaw ride to the Sannen-zaka and Ninen-zaka districts, where cars are prohibited and traditional teahouses and temples adorn the nearby landscape. Kyoto is known as “The City of Ten Th...

Forty miles and forty days
You were gone without a trace
I'm begging for you
I waited for you
For any day and any place
I am lost without your face
I'm headed for you
I'm waiting for you
Gonna wait
A summer berry day
You and me
We'll might just stand it...
I'm the way that keeps you coming
I'm the way that keeps you coming
Everytime when you are near
I am lost without a trace
I'm begging for you
I'm bringing you down
Forty miles and forty days
I am here with all that place
Holding you down
I'm begging you now
Gonna wait
A summer berry day
You and me
We'll might just stand it...
