Là dove i monti del Gennargentu scendono verso il mare, la costa alta della Sardegna orientale disegna un profilo ampio ed incurvato, teatro delle più belle e selvagge spiagge sarde: il golfo di Orosei. Questo tratto di mare è privo di una strada costiera, e questo forse ha protetto un ambiente incontaminato dove il mare regna sovrano, modellando spiagge e rocce, tingendo di turchese un paesaggio ricco di suggestione.
La celebrità di Cala Gonone ha origine antiche, legate soprattutto alle peculiarità geologiche di questi lidi. Ad esempio tutti avranno sentito parlare della grotta del bue marino, celebre cavità carsica dove viveva, fino a qualche decennio fa, la foca monaca. La visita alla grotta è consigliabile, ci sono barche che partono da Cala Gonone e conducono alle grotte, non raggiungibili da terra se non a piedi, per sentieri. Una volta entrati il gioco delle luci, i riflessi dell'acqua di mare sulla volta tra stalattiti e stalagmiti, vi lasceranno davvero senza fiato.
Poco più a sud si trova invece Cala Luna (tra le spiagge più belle della costa orientale), una piccola spiaggia nelle dimensioni, ma come fama una delle più importanti di Sardegna. Bianche rocce calcaree con falesie a picco e ricche di grotte, acque che virano dal turchese chiaro al blu profondo del largo, la tranquillità di trovarsi nel centro del Mediterraneo, lontani da automobili e smog.
Anche Cala Luna non è raggiungibile con l'automobile, se siete temerari del trekking potete tentare la passeggiata per i ripidi sentieri, oppure affidarvi al servizio di barche che viene organizzato da Cala Gonone.
Un altra cala degna di nota è Cala Mariolu, famosa per il contrasto dell'arenile ciottoloso dai colori candidi con le tonalità turchese delle limpide acque della baia. Più a sud si trova Cala Goloritzè, anch'essa raggiungibile a piedi, attraverso ripidi sentieri, una spiaggia famosa specie per gli appassionati di free climbing. Come un gigantesco campanile una torre di roccia, la Guglia, alta 140 m, di cui 120 a strapiombo con un panorama dalla cima che lascia sgomenti per la sua vertiginosa bellezza.

Il video è stato presentato martedì 8 settembre a Milano in Expo nel corso di un evento tenutosi all'interno del padiglione Associazione Italiana Allevatori-Coldiretti.
“Vista l'importanza del progetto lo abbiamo presentato su un palcoscenico internazionale con relatori di spessore – professor Giuseppe Pulina e l'antropologo Bachisio Bandinu , che insieme al professor Luca Deiana, esperto di longevità e padre del progetto Akea, acronimo di A Kent'annos (che tu possa vivere cent'anni), hanno collaborato a realizzare il video, spiega Marino Contu e - per far emergere meglio, al pubblico qualificato che abbiamo invitato, l'importanza della pastorizia e dell'allevamento per la Sardegna, saranno presenti vari gruppi di "Canto a Tenore", riconosciuto dall'Unesco patrimonio intangibile dell'umanità in quanto espressione del Pastoralismo.
Una giornata importante per la pastorizia sarda e per la Sardegna intera – così l'ha definita il presidente di Ara Sardegna Sandro Lasi – perchè abbiamo presentato al mondo il Pastoralismo, che ha disegnato la geografia culturale e ambientale dell’isola e il carattere dei suoi abitanti”.
“Ma sopratutto – aggiunge il direttore dell'Aras Marino Contu – il Pastoralismo è il presupposto per campare cento anni come ci dimostrano gli studi che da anni si svolgono nella terra dei centenari per antonomasia, oltre che la base fondamentale della nostra economia, dove 3 milioni di ovini, 250 mila caprini e 200 mila bovini rustici ne fanno la più grande area del Mediterraneo dove è praticato il pascolo”.

Sardegna, non solo mare e Andrew Zimmern con la sua troupe, alla ricerca di «Bizarre Foods», deve mettere piede a terra, anzi salire fra le montagne per scoprire la cucina dei pastori con le sue ricette omeriche: "casu marzu", "trattaliu", interiora varie di agnello, pecora e maiale. Delizie insidiose, grassi saturi in abbondanza di formaggi e carni rosse, per concludere con gli omega 3 della merka, preparata secondo una ricetta fenicia con il muggine degli stagni di Cabras. The nearest land masses are (clockwise from north) the island of Corsica, the Italian Peninsula, Sicily, Tunisia, the Balearic Islands, and Provence. The Tyrrhenian Sea portion of the Mediterranean Sea is directly to the east of Sardinia between the Sardinian east coast and the west coast of the Italian mainland peninsula. The Strait of Bonifacio is directly north of Sardinia and separates Sardinia from the French island of Corsica.
The region has its capital in its largest city, Cagliari, and is divided into eight provinces. Its indigenous language and the other minority languages (Sassarese, Corsican Gallurese, Catalan Algherese and Ligurian Tabarchino) enjoy "equal dignity" with Italian each in the concerned territory by a regional law.

SARDEGNA - Le spiagge più belle del Golfo di Orosei - HD

Questo tratto di mare è privo di una strada costiera, e questo forse ha protetto un ambiente incontaminato dove il mare regna sovrano, modellando spiagge e rocce, tingendo di turchese un paesaggio ricco di suggestione. Sardegna - Bizarre Foods, la cucina dei pastori
Sardegna, non solo mare e Andrew Zimmern con la sua troupe, alla ricerca di «Bizarre Foods», deve mettere piede a terra, anzi salire fra le montagne per scoprire la cucina dei pastori con le sue ricette omeriche: "casu marzu", "trattaliu", interiora varie di agnello, pecora e maiale. Delizie insidiose, grassi saturi in abbondanza di formaggi e carni rosse, per concludere con gli omega 3 della merka, preparata secondo una ricetta fenicia con il muggine degli stagni di Cabras. Questo tratto di mare è privo di una strada costiera, e questo forse ha protetto un ambiente incontaminato dove il mare regna sovrano, modellando spiagge e rocce, tingendo di turchese un paesaggio ricco di suggestione.
La celebrità di Cala Gonone ha origine antiche, legate soprattutto alle peculiarità geologiche di questi lidi. Ad esempio tutti avranno sentito parlare della grotta del bue marino, celebre cavità carsica dove viveva, fino a qualche decennio fa, la foca monaca. La visita alla grotta è consigliabile, ci sono barche che partono da Cala Gonone e conducono alle grotte, non raggiungibili da terra se non a piedi, per sentieri. Una volta entrati il gioco delle luci, i riflessi dell'acqua di mare sulla volta tra stalattiti e stalagmiti, vi lasceranno davvero senza fiato.
Poco più a sud si trova invece Cala Luna (tra le spiagge più belle della costa orientale), una piccola spiaggia nelle dimensioni, ma come fama una delle più importanti di Sardegna. Bianche rocce calcaree con falesie a picco e ricche di grotte, acque che virano dal turchese chiaro al blu profondo del largo, la tranquillità di trovarsi nel centro del Mediterraneo, lontani da automobili e smog.
Anche Cala Luna non è raggiungibile con l'automobile, se siete temerari del trekking potete tentare la passeggiata per i ripidi sentieri, oppure affidarvi al servizio di barche che viene organizzato da Cala Gonone.
Un altra cala degna di nota è Cala Mariolu, famosa per il contrasto dell'arenile ciottoloso dai colori candidi con le tonalità turchese delle limpide acque della baia. Più a sud si trova Cala Goloritzè, anch'essa raggiungibile a piedi, attraverso ripidi sentieri, una spiaggia famosa specie per gli appassionati di free climbing. Come un gigantesco campanile una torre di roccia, la Guglia, alta 140 m, di cui 120 a strapiombo con un panorama dalla cima che lascia sgomenti per la sua vertiginosa bellezza.

The second largest island of the Mediterranean managed to keep some of its natural, untouched beauty, which is more and more rare in modern Europe. Large herds of goat and sheep are grazing on the scarcely inhabited Campidoro plain. Here thearchaic patoral culture still lives on. In the Giara di Gesturi National Park a stud of 1500 horses lives completely free. There are almost 8 thousand ‘nurages’, ancient megalithic stone buildings built around 2000 BC. The black diorite, polished by the sea and the wind and the grey granite rocks stand out ouf the blue sea. The island is covered with macchia, a fragrant bush, between them there is myrtle, thyme, rosemary and lavender. The landscape is full of olive trees, cork, almond trees and grape. ONE WEEK IN SARDINIA: TRAVEL DIARY 2015
The last week of October was höstlov here in Sweden, and my host family decided to go on a week long trip to Sardinia, Italy. On Tuesday, October 27th, we packed our bags and drove to Nyköping, where we flew with Ryanair to Olbia, Sardinia, from which we drove a large minibus to Alghero, on the west coast of the island. So much love for the first song I’ve used, Roses by The Chainsmokers ft. ROZES, during which I show footage from our stay in Alghero. We spent a lot of time at two beaches close to our hotel, which was called something Eucalypti I think, and drove for a few minutes to another beautiful beach just outside of Alghero. We ate lots of amazing Italian food (lots of pizza, pasta, and caprese salads), had so much good ice-cream and gelato, and walked around the beautiful medieva...

The last week of October was höstlov here in Sweden, and my host family decided to go on a week long trip to Sardinia, Italy. On Tuesday, October 27th, we packed our bags and drove to Nyköping, where we flew with Ryanair to Olbia, Sardinia, from which we drove a large minibus to Alghero, on the west coast of the island.
So much love for the first song I’ve used, Roses by The Chainsmokers ft. ROZES, during which I show footage from our stay in Alghero. We spent a lot of time at two beaches close to our hotel, which was called something Eucalypti I think, and drove for a few minutes to another beautiful beach just outside of Alghero. We ate lots of amazing Italian food (lots of pizza, pasta, and caprese salads), had so much good ice-cream and gelato, and walked around the beautiful medieval town of Alghero. Also, if you saw the chocolate pudding-like thing, that’s what you receive when you order hot chocolate in Sardinia??
During the second son, Dreams by Autograf (Boehm Remix), you can watch us take a day trip to Bosa, which was so pretty and colourful, where we walked up to a small castle which featured an incredible view of the town, then stopped at another beach on our way back to Alghero. During our last day in Italy, we stopped in Sassari for some shopping and something to eat, and then drove around Olbia before catching the plane back to Sweden.
I will soon be posting more about this incredible trip on my blog, so check that out if you want to see photos and stuff.
Everything was filmed on my Canon EOS 100D / SL1, except for the clips from the plane, which was taken on my iPhone 5S.

She's standing beside a nuraghe, one of 7 or 8 thousand that uniquely dot the land of Sardinia. They're about 35 to 40 centuries old, built by the nuragic people, and continue to puzzle and fascinate archeologists to this day. We were brought here by nuraghe guide and former chef Giorgio Congiu, whom we like to call the emperor of Crastu, a tiny hamlet in the Sardinian interior.
