    This is bang on. They’re great coaches, but to me it looks like their personalities and emotional intelligence is what sets them apart

    As well as the tactical shrewdness, Klopp & Pochettino’s emotional connection with their players has been critical over these epic semi-finals. If it hadn’t already there will be a lot of club owners/CEOs pondering that factor now

    The only evidence you need that Emery is a second rate manager is the fact that, for 2/3 of the season, he didn't think Ramsey was good enough to start.

    In Ramsey we’re losing not only our best player, but one of the few players in the squad who gives a shit and tries to take responsibility.

    As much as we mock Klopp and Pochettino for their lack of trophies, after a full season you could see a style of play and improvements in performance. Right now I feel like I’m watching the same Arsenal of the last 5 seasons. No difference.

    We need to look at PL players this summer. The current Liverpool first team includes two players they bought from Southampton, one from Newcastle, Hull, Sunderland and Charlton, etc. Diop/Rice/Maddison/Chilwell/Maguire/Neves/Jota/Zaha/etc would significantly improve us.

    All for giving managers time but the problem is Emery could take us to a point beyond repair. A Europa League manager with Europa League tactics and Europa League recruitment only leads to one thing.

    Last season, the squad was deemed good enough to conclude the manager was underperforming and part ways. This season, we’ve added 5 signings but now the squad is apparently the reason we’re not good enough. It’s just inconsistent.
