Software development is the process of computer programming, documenting, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product. The term refers to a process of writing and maintaining the source code, but in a broader sense of the term it includes all that is involved between the conception of the desired software through to the final manifestation of the software, ideally in a planned and structured process. Therefore, software development may include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities that result in software products.
Software can be developed for a variety of purposes, the three most common being to meet specific needs of a specific client/business (the case with custom software), to meet a perceived need of some set of potential users (the case with commercial and open source software), or for personal use (e.g. a scientist may write software to automate a mundane task). Embedded software development, that is, the development of embedded software such as used for controlling consumer products, requires the development process to be integrated with the development of the controlled physical product. System software underlies applications and the programming process itself, and is often developed separately.
Uncle (from Latin: avunculus "little grandfather", the diminutive of avus "grandfather") is a family relationship or kinship within an extended family. An uncle is the brother, brother-in-law or half-brother of one's parent. A biological uncle is a second degree relative and shares 30% genetic overlap.
A great-uncle (sometimes written as great uncle, grand-uncle or granduncle) is the brother or brother-in-law of one's grandparent.
A woman with an equivalent relationship is an aunt, and the reciprocal relationship is that of a nephew or niece.
In some cultures and families, children may refer to the cousins of their parents as "aunt" or "uncle". It is also a title of respect for elders (for example older cousins, neighbors, acquaintances, close family friends as well as total strangers). Using this term in this way is a form of fictive kinship.
In some cultures, like Slavic or Persian cultures, no single inclusive term describing both a person's kinship to their parental male sibling or parental male in-law exists. Instead, there are specific terms describing a person's kinship to their mother's brother ("daiyee" in Persian) or a person's kinship to their father's brother ("amou" in Persian).

Plot: The second of three Universal versions of this plot following 1932's "The Fourth Horseman" with Tom Mix and followed by 1950's "Gold Strike", a musical-short version with Tex Williams. Majestic Pictures "borrowed" the story for 1933's "Trouble Busters" with Jack Hoxie, and Colony Pictures did the same for 1939's "Death Rides the Range" with Ken Maynard. This time out, Bob Martin and his pal, Tom "Cherokee" Walton, moving across the back country with a herd of horses find an abandoned mail stage and the bullet-ridden bodies of the guards. Continuing into the deserted mining town of Stillwell, Bob finds the place occupied by Gomer and his henchmen, Tex, Slim, Fred, Bill and Jose. The remaining resident, Judge Stillwell, is apparently a lunatic who shuffles around town talking to citizens that aren't there and about events and celebrations in a town that has none. Gomer had his henchmen rob the stage to steal a tax notice intended for Easterner Molly Taylor, the legal owner of the town. Gomer intends to buy the town at a tax foreclosure, and then start a fake gold boom. Judge Stillwell's lunacy act is to prevent Gomer from discovering that an actual gold mine lies beneath the town. Bob's suspicions are aroused when Gomer's men stampede his herd he has resting in the town corral to get him out of town. Then Molly Taylor arrives claiming to own the town despite Gomer's boast to Bob that he is the owner. Bob discovers the stolen mail pouch, Judge Stillwell reveals that he is really sane and that there is a gold mine under the town, and Bob decides to thwart Gomer's conspiracy. Evading Gomer's men, Bob races off to pay the taxes for Molly. Returning with the receipt, he finds Gomer and his men barricaded in possession of the town and determined to shoot things out.

The theft of a wedding-present necklace starts the feud anew. Ann and Bob are drawn into the dangerous situation but Tarzan, Famous Police Dog, is a vital factor in solving the mystery which results in a final victory over the real criminals and restoration and goodwill between the warring clans.

http://www.infoq.com/interviews/coplien-martin-tdd Bob Martin is also known as Uncle Bob. He is an Agile Manifesto author, and author of books on Agile Programming, XP, UML, Object Oriented Programming, and C++. Jim Coplien is a software pioneer in Object Oriented programming and C++ and multi-paradigm design. He is also co-author of DCI paradigm. Debate sprang up at JAOO '07 around Bob Martin's assertion that "nowadays it is irresponsible for a developer to ship a line of code he has not executed in a unit test." In this InfoQ video, he debated with Jim Coplien on this and other topics, including Design by Contract vs. TDD and how much up-front architecture is needed to keep a system consistent with the business domain model. Do agile methods abandon architecture for speed? Do they replace good design decisions with mindless testing? Are agile methods just another way to hack-and-slash systems together without the appropriate discipline, due-diligence, and documentation? In this Keynote Robert C. Martin describes how the principles of Agile Software Development lead to rich and robust architectures, high degrees of discipline, due consideration of design and architecture, and all appropriate levels of documentation.
