Zeno the Isaurian (/ˈziːnoʊ/; Latin: Flavius Zeno Augustus; Greek: Ζήνων; c. 425 – 9 April 491), originally named Tarasis Kodisa Rousombladadiotes/ˈtærəsᵻs/, was Byzantine Emperor from 474 to 475 and again from 476 to 491. Domestic revolts and religious dissension plagued his reign, which nevertheless succeeded to some extent in foreign issues. His reign saw the end of the Western Roman Empire under Romulus Augustus, but he contributed much to stabilizing the eastern Empire.
In ecclesiastical history, Zeno is associated with the Henotikon or "instrument of union", promulgated by him and signed by all the Eastern bishops, with the design of solving the monophysite controversy.
Zeno's original name was Tarasis. Tarasis was born in Isauria, at Rusumblada, later renamed Zenonopolis in Zeno's honour. His father was called Kodisa (as attested by his patronimic "Tarasicodissa"), his mother Lallis, his brother Longinus. Tarasis had a wife, Arcadia, whose name indicates a relationship with the Constantinopolitan aristocracy, and whose statue was erected near the Baths of Arcadius, along the steps that led to Topoi. Near Eastern and other Christian traditions maintain that Zeno had two daughters, Hilaria and Theopiste, who followed a religious life, but historical sources attest the existence of only one son by Arcadia, called Zenon. Tarasis was probably related to the Isaurian general Zeno, who had fought against Attila in 447 to defend Constantinople and had been consul the following year.
Zeno (or Zenon, Greek: Ζήνων; 3rd and 2nd centuries BC) was a Greek physician.
He was one of the most eminent of the followers of Herophilus, whom Galen calls "no ordinary man," and who is said by Diogenes Laërtius to have been better able to think than to write. He lived probably at the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 2nd centuries BC, as he was a contemporary of Apollonius Empiricus, with whom he carried on a controversy concerning the meaning of certain marks (Greek: χαρακτῆρες) that are found at the end of some of the chapters of the third book of the Epidemics of Hippocrates. He gave particular attention to the materia medica, and is perhaps the physician whose medical formulae are quoted by Galen, in which case he must have been a native of Laodicea. He is mentioned in several other passages by Galen, and also by Erotianus; perhaps also by Pliny,Caelius Aurelianus,Alexander of Aphrodisias, and Rufus of Ephesus, but this is uncertain.

Genres: Drama, Short, Thriller,You've been poisoning my days
since I knew your nasty face
I shivered by the look in your eyes

like a hawk in the sky
You got me down
you worried my mind
you got me down
but I know I'm gonna survive
You can tell me what you want
but it's better if you don't
the years have made me deaf to all lies
had enough of your talk
it's better you walk
out of that door, out of my eyes
So sad when I'm looking back
to the time of all these dirty lies
but I won't let you break my neck
and I know that I will - I'm gonna survive
