Jesuslesfilles - "Le grain d'or"

The sophomore full-length from Montreal's noisy rockers officially drops today. Their relentless guitars and guy/girl deadpan melodies make for an excellent sing-along record for all you French-speakers out there. The album is a quick 24 minutes, with each track clocking in at under 3 minutes apiece, so no single riff or melody overstays its welcome. 幾何学模様/Kikagaku Moyo - Mammatus Clouds

2014 is going to be a good year for Kikagaku Moyo. This month, they've released this excellent, improvised, and meditative limited edition cassette on Sky Lantern Records (sold out). On May 4th, they will be playing Austin Psych Fest, which boasts the most incredible festival lineup in history (biased), and they're second full-length LP, Forest of Lost Children, is slated for a May 20th release on the ever-reliable Beyond Beyond Is Beyond Records. The Vickers - Ghost

The year of polished sunny psychedelia continues on with the release of Florence's The Vickers debut full-length record, which officially dropped worldwide last week via multiple labels. Black Candy Records for Italy, Ruby Music for Ireland, Crash Symbols for US (only cassette edition), and Flake Records for Japan. VIDEO: WTCHS - Over Kilmer

WTCHS is four piece Canadian band that hates vowels and probably loves 90's post-punk as much as I do. "Over Kilmer" is from the band's new EP, It's Not A Cross, It's A Curse! which will be printed on sexy white vinyl and released on Sonic Unyon/Out Of Sound/PERDU April 8th. The rest of the EP is a great blend of face pummeling rock n' roll and dissonant noise. It's the perfect soundtrack for your next ritualistic murder or drug-fueled orgy. Armure - s/t

New wave, dark wave, post punk, folk, psych, lofi, bedroom pop. There's about a million genres I could throw out there to describe this album, but it's the truly great songwriting capabilities of Tibo Padlock, aka Armure, that will truly catch your attention. Recorded over just a few days in Toulouse, France during the summer of 2013 via 8-track tape recorder, this is an extremely rewarding album that will warrant repeated listens. The cassette is limited to 100 copies and available through Crudites Tapes.

The Very Wicked - You're The Everything In Us

A shadowy form has taken shape out of Cape Town, South Africa, and it's called The Very Wicked. Brooding psychedelia with gorgeous vocals (Black Mountain-esque at times), methodical rhythms, and droning guitars. This is an impressive debut that is sure to have you road-tripping down the highway of your mind. I'm sure an LP is imminent, but go ahead and just give them you're money now over at bandcamp.
