Meat Parade is the handle/mindsplosion of Jesse Osborne-Lanthier of Montreal, Quebec, and his electrogrindjazzbreakcorekabob is sure to murder every last one of those brain cells. Throw Dev/null, Doormouse, Venetian Snares, and Pleasurehorse into a blender and hit the "liquify" button. The first and last tracks are killer.

Slutever - Sorry I'm Not Sorry

Got an email from a fellow former WRIRer who is currently organizing a show here in Richmond featuring Forever and Tacocat from Portland and this Philly twosome. I had actually never heard of Slutever, but after a quick google search it seems like these girls have been gaining quite a few followers over the last year. This is a quick and enjoyable EP, and you could certainly lump them in with Wavves and Best Coast, but their snottier middle school 4-track adolescent sensibilities set them apart slightly. And since they aren't as popular that automatically makes them better. Right?

The Diamond Center - Caraway/20Twin 7"

I posted a live set a few months back from the smokey southern psychedelic troupe The Diamond Center which featured the two tracks found on this recently released 7" on Some Day This Will Make Sense.
The standard edition of 400 is pressed on 40g black vinyl. The limited edition is reserved to 100 copies, pressed on 40g white vinyl in a special screen-printed jacket, personally printed and lovingly packaged by the band themselves.
