How do I upload longer Twitter videos?
Currently, the maximum time limit on an uploaded Twitter video on ads.twitter.com is 2 minutes and 20 seconds. If you would like to request to access to upload a 10 minute video, please contact our support team by filing a ticket here.

How do I access Media Studio?

What media will be available to me in the Media Studio?
Arrow down iconAll of your media (video, GIFs, & images!) will be available to you in Media Studio. For clarity, this includes all of the media previously uploaded via video.twitter.com, any media that was Tweeted directly from the associated Twitter account, and any new media uploaded via the Media Studio dashboard.

Does Media Studio have video length and size limits?
Arrow down iconMedia Studio supports standard Twitter video length limits. Please contact your partner manager if you are unable to upload videos that exceed the standard limits.

How do I upload media assets (i.e., videos, GIFs, images)?
Arrow down iconMedia can be uploaded by clicking the "Upload Media" button on the Library tab of the Media Studio tool.

Can I edit the media I’ve uploaded to Media Studio?
Arrow down iconNo, Media Studio does not currently have any editing capabilities.

How do I Tweet media assets (i.e., video, GIF’s, images)?
Arrow down iconMedia assets can be Tweeted by identifying and selecting the desired asset in your Media Studio library and then clicking the blue compose Tweet button.

How do I grant access for other users to my account?
Arrow down iconAccount administrators can grant either full or limited access via the “Edit access to account” link included in the account drop down menu.

How do I switch between the different accounts I manage?
Arrow down iconIf you’ve been granted access to more than one account, you can easily select which one to use. To switch between accounts, simply click the drop down menu from the name of the current account you are managing (located in the upper right on the Studio navigation bar) and select the account you’d like to switch to.

Can I use a YouTube video?
Arrow down iconIn order to provide the best experience for the user we require that all videos be uploaded and hosted by Twitter. The same video that was uploaded to YouTube can also be uploaded to Twitter (provided the user owns the video), but you cannot reuse the YouTube URL with the Twitter video player.

Can I use my own video player?
Arrow down iconNo, Media Studio requires the use of the native Twitter video player.

Can I set the title and description that users see in my video Tweet?
Arrow down iconYes, the title and description can be edited via the Upload, Edit, and Compose pages. These fields are optional and can be left blank if necessary.

Can I include advertising on my video?
Arrow down iconAt this time, we do not allow non-Amplify partners to include advertising in their videos. If you’re a brand or content producer looking to form a Twitter Amplify partnership, you can apply for access here.

What analytics are tracked?
Arrow down iconMedia Studio partners will be able to access the Video Analytics Dashboard via the Analytics tab of the Media Studio tool. Some examples of the analytics tracked include (but are not limited to) the following:
Video starts
Retention rates (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
Completion rates (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
Total minutes viewed

Can I use third party analytics services?

Can I delete a media asset I’ve uploaded?
Arrow down iconYes, you can delete a media asset from the UI by clicking the “trash can” icon found at the bottom of each thumbnail included in your Library.

How do I schedule a Tweet?
Arrow down iconTo schedule a Tweet, start by clicking the blue compose button. From there, the compose sheet will open and allow you to click the schedule icon (next to the Tweet button) and set the appropriate date and time.

How do I remove a scheduled Tweet before it goes live / posts?
Arrow down iconTo remove a scheduled Tweet simply go to the Schedule page, locate the Tweet you’d like to remove and click the delete icon (which appears in the upper right hand corner of each scheduled post when selected).

Can I delete a media asset I’ve already Tweeted?
Arrow down iconYes, you can delete a media asset after it has been Tweeted. This can be done from the UI by clicking the “trash can” icon found at the bottom of each thumbnail included in your Library. If you are deleting an already Tweeted media asset, we recommend that you also delete the Tweet from Twitter. Otherwise users will receive an error saying that the media asset cannot be viewed/played.
