I remember the Lanc well. Reminded me of some great times. With the mention of Spider, the first time at the Lanc the lads all had long permed hair, 3 bit whistles. Soon changed to the leather/bondage/Village People look. Saw them a few times even at the Bridge House Canning Town, I think using lasers lights and smoke bombs... Do I remember right, that the Stranglers would turn up with other names and the pub would soon fill up?
