One-time Brisbane radio darling 97.3FM has continued its rapid slide down the ratings following the sacking of much-loved star Robin Bailey.
Bailey's new home at Triple M continued to attract new listeners but it was Nova and the ABC benefiting most from their rival's misfortune in the latest period.

'I was ambushed': Robin Bailey
Robin Bailey is axed from the high rating Brisbane 97.3FM breakfast show, saying it was "not a joint decision". Nine News: November 14, 2016
Nova enjoyed a massive listener boost to surge from fifth to second while new ABC Brisbane host Craig Zonca also improved significantly to grab the outright top spot so often occupied by his predecessor, Spencer Howson.
Bianca, Terry and Bob's latest slide saw 97.3FM occupying just 10 per cent of the breakfast market, a sizeable 3.1 points down on the last time Bailey appeared on the show, when the station claimed a commanding ratings lead in the last survey of 2016.
The first GFK ratings survey of the year showed an immediate change in fortunes for the network, as Bailey's loyal listeners appeared to desert her old station in favour of her new home.
That trend continued in the latest ratings, covering February 12 to April 8, with Triple M improving 0.5 points. But Nova's Ash, Kip and Luttsy (+2.1) and the ABC (+1.1) enjoyed the biggest jumps.
Triple M missed a ratings win by the barest margin last period and would have claimed top spot this time around were it not for its surging rivals.
The drive slot also saw huge changes, as almost one in five Brisbane radio listeners chose Nova's Kate, Tim and Marty to drive them home, giving them a 4.3-point lead over their nearest competition on HIT 105.
The station's huge jump in listeners coincided with a 4.4-point drop at Triple J and little change at most other stations in the drive-time slot.
It was more bad news for ARN overall, where Nova's big improvement, coupled with a 97.3FM audience dip, saw the station sink from first to third.
ARN national content director Duncan Campbell said it could take a few surveys to build a new show.
"We've had great feedback from 97.3 listeners and will continue to support the show as part of our long term strategy for Brisbane," he said.
Triple M content director Mike Fitzpatrick said it was a "great result".
"We really picked up the ball when ARN fumbled and let Robin Bailey go."
