Melanie Broback, Westmont softball: Played in her 100th career softball game, going 1 for 3 with a run scored in a loss against Branham.

Aiyanna Cruz, Gunderson softball: Hit two home runs and finished with four RBIs in a win over Andrew Hill. Cruz is batting .618 on the season, and the Grizzlies are 12-2 overall.

Bubba Gomez, Fremont Christian baseball: Went 3 for 3 with three runs scored and two RBIs in a win over Nipomo. Gomez is batting .543 on the season with 25 RBIs, and the Warriors are 13-3 overall.

Ryan Jenkins, Saint Mary’s-Berkeley baseball: Combined to go 9 for 10 with eight runs scored, two RBIs and a double in wins over Los Banos, Davis, Modesto and Sacred Heart Prep at the Dick Windemuth tournament. Jenkins is batting .479 on the season, and the Panthers are 14-5 overall.

Kelli Kuramoto, Los Altos gymnastics: Won the all-around with a score of 37.95 at a meet at Los Altos between Christopher, Cupertino, Gilroy, Homestead, Los Altos and Mountain View. She also won the floor with a score of 9.65 and finished second on team with a score of 9.75.

Cindy Linker, Mountain View gymnastics: Won the vault with a score of 9.15 at a meet at Los Altos between Christopher, Cupertino, Gilroy, Homestead, Los Altos and Mountain View. She also finished second in the all-around with a score of 37.5 and second on the bars with a score of 9.7.

Griff McGarry, Menlo baseball: Pitched a complete game, striking out 12 while allowing just three hits and an unearned run, in a 3-1 win over Half Moon Bay. The Knights are 6-1 in league play.

Robert Miranda, Menlo track and field: Took second place at the CCS Top 8 meet in the 1,600 with a personal-best time of 4:14.22. He also placed second in the 3,200 with a time of 9:19.36.

Brooke Panfili, Acalanes softball and track and field: Pulled double-duty. She pitched a no-hitter in a win over Miramonte and a one-hitter in a win against Ygnacio Valley, striking out 18 batters over the two games. Panfili also went 5 for 8 at the plate and scored five runs to help the Dons improve to 10-2 overall. Panfili also took third in the 100 in a track meet against Ygnacio Valley.

Nolan Peterson, Menlo baseball: Hit a grand slam and a double, totaling five RBIs, in a 15-4 win over Gunn. Menlo is 11-8-1 on the season.

Janna Pickett, Livermore track and field: Set a school record by clearing 11 feet, 7 inches in the pole vault at the Monte Vista dual meet.

Alex Scales, Bellarmine College Prep track and field: Crossed the finish line first in the 1,600 at the CCS Top 8 meet at Los Gatos High, winning in 4 minutes, 13.39 seconds. The mark ranks No. 2 in the state this season. Scales has the state’s top time in the 800 (1:50.64).

Alena Stern, Menlo lacrosse: Made 11 saves in a win over Amador Valley and nine saves in a victory against Carondelet. Menlo is 11-2 overall.
