Hey guys I thought I would share with you this little trick I made up after realising that the StoneBrick Gateways are almost indestructible!
This has to be one of the most strongest walls you can use for defence, tho it does cost a few resources!

This is only a small segment of the wall I'll have around the island. It's only the first floor, and was built to take most of the damage. The second floor will have catwalks on both sides made of iron bars, and the 3rd will be something more pleasant.
I'll have to dig so much stone to make this entire wall that I'm worried this can destabilize the planet and cause earthquakes.
After building this wall, I still have bridges and a tower to finish. This will be a real challenge for me.
I changed the recipe for gunpowder. Instead of 2 coal and 2 potassium, now it requires 1 of both materials.
I really don't want to go out and search for these kind of resources. I found some during the excavations but it's not much to fight these huge hordes. I'm thinking in add 1 of each resource (coal, potassium, lead and brass) for each stone I break. I already get 2 iron for doing that. These would make me self sufficient and would not require more loot runs. I would do runs only for fun and exploration, but it's up to you. What do you think about this? Let me know in the comments.

Enter a living, breathing forest with changing weather patterns, plants that grow and die. Tides that roll in and out with the day/night cycle. Below ground explore a vast network of caves and underground lakes.

Chop down trees to build a camp, or start a fire to keep warm. Scavenge food to keep yourself from starving. Find and plant seeds to grow food.
Build a small shelter or a large ocean side fortress. decorate your home with found items. Lay traps and defenses to keep a safe perimeter.
Gameplay:
Explore and build during the day. Defend your base at night. Craft weapons and tools. Bunker down during the evening or bring the fight directly to the enemy.
Fight or Hide:
Use stealth to evade enemies, or engage them directly with crude weapons built from sticks and stones.

Development roadmap:
The Forest has been in development for a while, but now we need your feedback to make it even better. Our vision for this game is a terrifying open world full of gameplay options and player freedom. We’ve come a long way but still have a lot of features and improvements to make.
Here’s a small sampling of what we hope to add to the game during alpha:
• Many more animals - fish, snakes, frogs and bird types. We want to really bring the world to life with the variety of fauna.

John Wall is a great shot blocking guard. When he was younger, Wall would to use his insane athleticism to chase guys down, or cover ground so fast as the help defender to erase shots. Today, he is still capable of doing those things, but he’s learned to slow down, on both ends, and that makes his eruptions that much more deadly. He wants to compete on the defensive end more. Instead of doing the playground reach to poke the ball lose and leak out, he’ll hawk the ball and stay in front. His discipline and drive have earned him All-Defensive Second Team honors, and he’s still only 24 years old.
There’s one thing that can be said about Wall with absolute certainty: he wants the ball. He’s willing to sacrifice his body to get the ball back for his team and he does so without hesitation. He’s matured as a player, and taking the challenge of going at elite ball handlers is evidence of that. The desire to do the dirty work, to get down and grind it out is the mark of someone who leads by example. He’ll fight with everything he’s got. It really doesn’t matter if he’s going up against Chris Paul, or LeBron, or a 7 footer. He won’t give up an inch, and that toughness has translated into steady improvement. Washington has had playoff success, with the Wizards pushing the #1 seed to six games in the Conference Semifinals in back-to-back years.
In this video, you’ll see what John does exceptionally well, which is block shots. Obviously, I’ve already made a video exclusively focusing on that (link below), the focus of this one is more on perimeter play. Dislodging the ball, diving for it, and just running it down, in general. It’s about his improved ability and knowhow combined with his bursts of explosive force.

Defensive wall
A defensive wall is a fortification used to protect a city, town or other settlement from potential aggressors. In ancient to modern times, they were used to enclose settlements. Generally, these are referred to as city walls or town walls, although there were also walls, such as the Great Wall of China, Walls of Benin, Hadrian's Wall, and the metaphorical Atlantic Wall, which extended far beyond the borders of a city and were used to enclose regions or mark territorial boundaries. Beyond their defensive utility, many walls also had important symbolic functions – representing the status and independence of the communities they embraced.
Existing ancient walls are almost always masonry structures, although brick and timber-built variants are also known. Depending on the topography of the area surrounding the city or the settlement the wall is intended to protect, elements of the terrain (e.g. rivers or coastlines) may be incorporated in order to make the wall more effective.

Ark: Survival Evolved
Ark: Survival Evolved (stylized as ARK: Survival Evolved) is an action-adventure survival video game developed by Studio Wildcard, Instinct Games, Efecto Studios and Virtual Basement. It is scheduled for release in June 2016 for Linux, Microsoft Windows, OS X, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game's early access began for Windows on June 2, 2015, for OS X and Linux on July 1, 2015, and for Xbox One on December 16, 2015. In the game, players must survive in a world filled with roaming dinosaurs, natural hazards, and potentially hostile human players.
The game is played from either a third-person or first-person view and its world is navigated on foot or by riding a dinosaur. Players use firearms and improvised weapons to defend against hostile humans and creatures, with the ability to build bases as defense. Players can also customize weapons using items scavenged from the environment. The game has both single-player and multiplayer options, with the latter allowing players to engage in simultaneous gameplay.

This is only a small segment of the wall I'll have around the island. It's only the first floor, and was built to take most of the damage. The second floor will have catwalks on both sides made of iron bars, and the 3rd will be something more pleasant. I'll have to dig so much stone to make this entire wall that I'm worried this can destabilize the planet and cause earthquakes. After building this wall, I still have bridges and a tower to finish. This will be a real challenge for me. I changed the recipe for gunpowder. Instead of 2 coal and 2 potassium, now it requires 1 of both materials. I really don't want to go out and search for these kind of resources. I found some during the excavations but it's not much to fight these huge hordes. I'm thinking in add 1 of each resource (coal, potassium, lead and brass) for each stone I break. I already get 2 iron for doing that. These would make me self sufficient and would not require more loot runs. I would do runs only for fun and exploration, but it's up to you. What do you think about this? Let me know in the comments. When he was younger, Wall would to use his insane athleticism to chase guys down, or cover ground so fast as the help defender to erase shots. Today, he is still capable of doing those things, but he’s learned to slow down, on both ends, and that makes his eruptions that much more deadly. He wants to compete on the defensive end more. Instead of doing the playground reach to poke the ball lose and leak out, he’ll hawk the ball and stay in front. His discipline and drive have earned him All-Defensive Second Team honors, and he’s still only 24 years old. There’s one thing that can be said about Wall with absolute certainty: he wants the ball. He’s willing to sacrifice his body to get the ball back for his team and he does so without hesitation. He’s matured as a player, and taking the challenge of going at elite ball handlers is evidence of that. The desire to do the dirty work, to get down and grind it out is the mark of someone who leads by example. He’ll fight with everything he’s got. It really doesn’t matter if he’s going up against Chris Paul, or LeBron, or a 7 footer. He won’t give up an inch, and that toughness has translated into steady improvement. Washington has had playoff success, with the Wizards pushing the #1 seed to six games in the Conference Semifinals in back-to-back years. In this video, you’ll see what John does exceptionally well, which is block shots. Obviously, I’ve already made a video exclusively focusing on that (link below), the focus of this one is more on perimeter play. Dislodging the ball, diving for it, and just running it down, in general. It’s about his improved ability and knowhow combined with his bursts of explosive force. This is only a small segment of the wall I'll have around the island. It's only the first floor, and was built to take most of the damage. The second floor will...
This is only a small segment of the wall I'll have around the island. It's only the first floor, and was built to take most of the damage. The second floor will have catwalks on both sides made of iron bars, and the 3rd will be something more pleasant.
I'll have to dig so much stone to make this entire wall that I'm worried this can destabilize the planet and cause earthquakes.
After building this wall, I still have bridges and a tower to finish. This will be a real challenge for me.
I changed the recipe for gunpowder. Instead of 2 coal and 2 potassium, now it requires 1 of both materials.
I really don't want to go out and search for these kind of resources. I found some during the excavations but it's not much to fight these huge hordes. I'm thinking in add 1 of each resource (coal, potassium, lead and brass) for each stone I break. I already get 2 iron for doing that. These would make me self sufficient and would not require more loot runs. I would do runs only for fun and exploration, but it's up to you. What do you think about this? Let me know in the comments.

John Wall is a great shot blocking guard. When he was younger, Wall would to use his insane athleticism to chase guys down, or cover ground so fast as the help defender to erase shots. Today, he is still capable of doing those things, but he’s learned to slow down, on both ends, and that makes his eruptions that much more deadly. He wants to compete on the defensive end more. Instead of doing the playground reach to poke the ball lose and leak out, he’ll hawk the ball and stay in front. His discipline and drive have earned him All-Defensive Second Team honors, and he’s still only 24 years old.
There’s one thing that can be said about Wall with absolute certainty: he wants the ball. He’s willing to sacrifice his body to get the ball back for his team and he does so without hesitation. He’s matured as a player, and taking the challenge of going at elite ball handlers is evidence of that. The desire to do the dirty work, to get down and grind it out is the mark of someone who leads by example. He’ll fight with everything he’s got. It really doesn’t matter if he’s going up against Chris Paul, or LeBron, or a 7 footer. He won’t give up an inch, and that toughness has translated into steady improvement. Washington has had playoff success, with the Wizards pushing the #1 seed to six games in the Conference Semifinals in back-to-back years.
In this video, you’ll see what John does exceptionally well, which is block shots. Obviously, I’ve already made a video exclusively focusing on that (link below), the focus of this one is more on perimeter play. Dislodging the ball, diving for it, and just running it down, in general. It’s about his improved ability and knowhow combined with his bursts of explosive force.

7 Days To Die Alpha 14 - Defensive Wall Test - Part 17
This is only a small segment of the wall I'll have around the island. It's only the first floor, and was built to take most of the damage. The second floor will have catwalks on both sides made of iron bars, and the 3rd will be something more pleasant. I'll have to dig so much stone to make this entire wall that I'm worried this can destabilize the planet and cause earthquakes. After building this wall, I still have bridges and a tower to finish. This will be a real challenge for me. I changed the recipe for gunpowder. Instead of 2 coal and 2 potassium, now it requires 1 of both materials. I really don't want to go out and search for these kind of resources. I found some during the excavations but it's not much to fight these huge hordes. I'm thinking in add 1 of each resource (coal, pot...

7 Days To Die Alpha 14 - Defensive Wall Test - Part 17

This is only a small segment of the wall I'll have around the island. It's only the first floor, and was built to take most of the damage. The second floor will...
This is only a small segment of the wall I'll have around the island. It's only the first floor, and was built to take most of the damage. The second floor will have catwalks on both sides made of iron bars, and the 3rd will be something more pleasant.
I'll have to dig so much stone to make this entire wall that I'm worried this can destabilize the planet and cause earthquakes.
After building this wall, I still have bridges and a tower to finish. This will be a real challenge for me.
I changed the recipe for gunpowder. Instead of 2 coal and 2 potassium, now it requires 1 of both materials.
I really don't want to go out and search for these kind of resources. I found some during the excavations but it's not much to fight these huge hordes. I'm thinking in add 1 of each resource (coal, potassium, lead and brass) for each stone I break. I already get 2 iron for doing that. These would make me self sufficient and would not require more loot runs. I would do runs only for fun and exploration, but it's up to you. What do you think about this? Let me know in the comments.

John Wall is a great shot blocking guard. When he was younger, Wall would to use his insane athleticism to chase guys down, or cover ground so fast as the help defender to erase shots. Today, he is still capable of doing those things, but he’s learned to slow down, on both ends, and that makes his eruptions that much more deadly. He wants to compete on the defensive end more. Instead of doing the playground reach to poke the ball lose and leak out, he’ll hawk the ball and stay in front. His discipline and drive have earned him All-Defensive Second Team honors, and he’s still only 24 years old.
There’s one thing that can be said about Wall with absolute certainty: he wants the ball. He’s willing to sacrifice his body to get the ball back for his team and he does so without hesitation. He’s matured as a player, and taking the challenge of going at elite ball handlers is evidence of that. The desire to do the dirty work, to get down and grind it out is the mark of someone who leads by example. He’ll fight with everything he’s got. It really doesn’t matter if he’s going up against Chris Paul, or LeBron, or a 7 footer. He won’t give up an inch, and that toughness has translated into steady improvement. Washington has had playoff success, with the Wizards pushing the #1 seed to six games in the Conference Semifinals in back-to-back years.
In this video, you’ll see what John does exceptionally well, which is block shots. Obviously, I’ve already made a video exclusively focusing on that (link below), the focus of this one is more on perimeter play. Dislodging the ball, diving for it, and just running it down, in general. It’s about his improved ability and knowhow combined with his bursts of explosive force.
