Teach your toddler how to drive in this $4000 luxury car

We're waiting for one of the Kardashian brood to be seen rolling around in this ostentatious invention. With a price tag of nearly $4000 for a base model with no extras, few will have that kind of budget for a luxury car that's actually a pram, but hey, we can have a good gawk at how the other half live.

The DTHRONE is definitely a head-turner. It's a vintage-style electric car made by a Korean company intent on giving kids that certain cachet or as Gizmodo says, causing them to look like '...an unfortunate castoff from Downton Abbey.' Toddlers and kids can learn how to drive it, with an adult cruising behind on the board, with a full control panel at their fingertips.

Of course, we all secretly wish we could have a go of one, this rich-lister's version of the parent-controlled trike. It's got leather-clad seating in a choice of colours, working headlights, and a range of optional extras such as a canopy, harness, parent handle, additional seat, smart controller and parent board. There's even a car remote option that looks and acts like the real thing.

We have to wonder how many units they're shifting from their fancy Seoul showroom slash concept cafe (what is that?) but there's little doubt the DTHRONE car would be at the top of every small, wealthy would-be motorist's Christmas list.
