Crimson Peak is a 2015 American gothic romance film by director Guillermo del Toro and written by del Toro and Matthew Robbins.
The film stars Mia Wasikowska, Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam, and Jim Beaver. Produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Universal Pictures, the film was released on October 16, 2015.
In 1887, Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska), the young daughter of wealthy American businessman Carter Cushing (Jim Beaver), is visited by her mother's ghost who warns her, "beware of Crimson Peak."
Fourteen years later, Edith is now a budding author who prefers penning ghost stories to writing the romance novels that her editor wants. She meets Sir Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston), an English baronet who has come to the United States seeking investors, including Edith's father, for his clay-mining invention. Disdaining privileged aristocracy and unimpressed with Sharpe's prototype and previous failures to raise capital, Cushing rejects Thomas's proposal. Edith notices that Thomas and his sister, Lucille (Jessica Chastain), wear expensive but outdated and somewhat-frayed fashions. Shortly after, Edith once again is visited by her mother's spirit bearing the same warning.
Creative Loafing, also known as CL Inc., was an Atlanta-based publisher of alternative weekly newspapers in the United States, including several Creative Loafing titles, which operated 1972–2012. The Atlanta Creative Loafing launched the career of best-selling author and American humorist Hollis Gillespie by debuting her weekly column "Moodswing," which first appeared in 2001 and ran for eight years. Jill Hannity, the wife of Sean Hannity, was the managing editor of the newspaper 1993–1996 until their move to New York City, which commenced Sean Hannity's television career.
Creative Loafing began as a family-owned business in the 1970s, expanding to other cities in the Southern United States in the late 1980s and 1990s. In 2007 it doubled its circulation with the purchase of the Chicago Reader and Washington City Paper; the $40 million debt it incurred, along with an economic recession, forced the company into bankruptcy one year later. By 2012 it had sold all of its properties to other publishers.

A comparison of every scene with Yoda in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. The original puppet from 1999 looked awkward and weird and miscolored. So, in one of his more popular changes, Lucas decided to edit in a CGI Yoda for the Blu-ray release. I, personally, am one of the few people in the world who prefers the original puppet. It was a sign of how Episode I was the perfect blend of practical effects and CGI, before everything went digital. This also very subtly highlights one of my biggest issues with Yoda in most of the prequel trilogy, in which how serious he is constantly. I think this is best illustrated in the final shot of Yoda at the parade. The Yoda puppet looks happily enjoying the party, while the updated model looks pissed off. In the original Empire, Yoda was introd...
