The pressure will doubtless mount on Pies coach Nathan Buckley after this listless and disorganised showing. The club will find itself near crisis point if they can't beat Essendon on Anzac Day.
FULL TIME
This game hit few heights, but the Saints' superior workrate and intensity and in the second half ensured clinched their second win of the season.
But the story will be Collingwood, who have slumped to 1-3, with concerns around the fitness of their captain Scott Pendlebury.
COLLINGWOOD 7.13.55
ST KILDA 9.15.69
Seb Ross, Dylan Roberton, Josh Bruce, Leigh Montagna and Jarryn Geary were the Saints' best, while Brodie Grundy and Jeremy Howe stood up for the Pies.

Suddenly a bit of life from the Pies, who press again, and Leigh Montagna is forced to rush a behind. The Saints head down the other end though, where Membrey marks and kicks the sealer!
Five minutes to go.

Against the flow of play Collingwood finally move it well, and Hoskin-Elliott marks 15m out, amazingly sinking the first goal of the quarter. Just over seven minutes to go.
There's a seagull standing 15m from Collingwood's goal that hasn't moved in about seven minutes. Tells you enough about this game, really.

Pendlebury clearly not right. Has had three disposals since half time, and looks to be running under duress.

St Kilda are well on top but have been inefficient going forward. This time Seb Ross, tugging it across the face. Jack Steele misses one too. They look home though.
Riewoldt takes a glorious contested mark 45m out but misses everything from a tough angle.

Nice transition from Collingwood but Fasolo can't sink his set shot.
Underway in the final quarter
Riewoldt has an early shot after a terrific mark but it's ushered through for a point. Margin is 23.
THREE-QUARTER TIME
The Saints dominated the third quarter, laying 22 tackles to 13, and have the game there for the taking.
Collingwood 5.8.38
St Kilda 8.12.60
Pendlebury has played the third fewest minutes of any Pie.

St Kilda threatening to blow this one apart. This time it's Gresham who misses to the right from 50m. Collingwood look very disorganised.

The Pies look to have a chance as Darcy Moore marks well 55m out but there's an off the ball free! The Saints rebound and Membrey has another chance, but sends it across the face of goal.
However a moment later the Pies turn it over again, and Billings kicks an easy goal!
We were due for a highlight and it came in the form of a big Jeremy Howe hanger deep in defence.

White gets a chance at the other end but misses on the run from 45m.
