According to Jezebel.com, there is an alarming shortage of men available for single women in Hong Kong.
Currently, only 876 men exist for every 1,000 women, meaning that 1 in 5 girls born in Hong Kong, can be single forever. One of the problems associated with the shortage of men, is that mainland Chinese women attract Hong Kong business men, on a greater scale that Hong Kong women. This is because Hong Kong women tend to be more dedicated to working life, rather than marital bliss.
Traditionally, Chinese men are raised to take care of the family, and don't deliver too much on a romantic level. This has led to many Hong Kong ladies fighting over the best men available and professional dating advice services have risen rapidly over the past decade.
Hong Kong women are also upping the ante, with large amounts of plastic surgery, and double eyelid surgery has become the norm for many. Unfortunately, the future of dating looks bleak for these women since the rate of men is set to drop even further over the next decade.

Hong Kong (香港; "Fragrant Harbour"), officially Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, is an autonomous territory on the southern coast of China at the Pearl River Estuary and the South China Sea. Hong Kong is known for its skyline and deep natural harbour. It has a land area of 1104 km2 and shares its northern border with Guangdong Province of Mainland China. With around 7.2 million inhabitants of various nationalities, Hong Kong is one of the world's most densely populated metropolises.
After the First Opium War (1839–42), Hong Kong became a British colony with the perpetual cession of Hong Kong Island, followed by Kowloon Peninsula in 1860 and a 99-year lease of the New Territories from 1898. Hong Kong remained under British control for about a century until the Second World War, when Japan occupied the colony from December 1941 to August 1945. After the Surrender of Japan, the British resumed control. In the 1980s, negotiations between the United Kingdom and the China resulted in the 1984 Sino-British Joint Declaration, which provided for the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong on 30 June 1997. The territory became a special administrative region of China with a high degree of autonomy on 1 July 1997 under the principle of one country, two systems. Disputes over the perceived misapplication of this principle have contributed to popular protests, including the 2014 Umbrella Revolution.

Native women in Hong Kong used to be situated within the context of Chinese family and society, in which they were treated the same as Mainland women or Taiwanese women. Under the traditional Chinese patriarchy structure, the society was male-dominated, and women had a relatively subordinate familial role. However, there are cultural differences between Mainland Chinese citizens and citizens of Hong Kong. During the British colonial period the emergence of Western culture (i.e. "Westernization") created a mix of traditional Chinese culture and Western values. This created a unique culture of Hong Kong. Along with the rapid economic and social development of Hong Kong since the end of the Second World War, a significant improvement in the role of women has been witnessed, while the male dominant society structure still persist in some aspects of women's lives. In Mainland China, women's roles have changed over time as well, but in different ways due to the influence of Mao Zedong's official ideology of gender equality, and Deng Xiaoping's economic reforms. Hence, women studies in Hong Kong are slightly different from China's, as citizens of Hong Kong often refrain from referring to themselves as Chinese but rather “Hong Kongers”.

Long time no see
"Long time no see" is an English expression used as a greeting by people who have not seen each other for a while. Its origins in American English appear to be an imitation of broken or pidgin English, and despite its ungrammaticality it is widely accepted as a fixed expression. The phrase is a multiword expression that cannot be explained by the usual rules of English grammar due to the irregular syntax. It may derive ultimately from an English pidgin such as that spoken by Native Americans or Chinese, or an imitation of such. The lexicographer Eric Partridge notes that it is akin to the phrases "no can do" and "chop chop".
Origin
An early use of the phrase, though not as a greeting, is from Lieut.-Colonel James Campbell's Excursions, Adventures, and Field-Sports in Ceylon (published 1843): "Ma-am—long time no see wife—want go to Colombo see wife."
The earliest appearance of the phrase "long time no see" in print recorded in Oxford English Dictionary dates to 1901, found in W. F. Drannan's Thirty-One Years on the Plains and in the Mountains, in which a Native American man is recorded as greeting the narrator by saying, "Good morning. Long time no see you." This example is intended to reflect usage in American Indian Pidgin English.

Currently, only 876 men exist for every 1,000 women, meaning that 1 in 5 girls born in Hong Kong, can be single forever. One of the problems associated with the shortage of men, is that mainland Chinese women attract Hong Kong business men, on a greater scale that Hong Kong women. This is because Hong Kong women tend to be more dedicated to working life, rather than marital bliss. Traditionally, Chinese men are raised to take care of the family, and don't deliver too much on a romantic level. This has led to many Hong Kong ladies fighting over the best men available and professional dating advice services have risen rapidly over the past decade. Hong Kong women are also upping the ante, with large amounts of plastic surgery, and double eyelid surgery has become the norm for many. Unfortunately, the future of dating looks bleak for these women since the rate of men is set to drop even further over the next decade. -

Take a ride on the Historic Peak Tram
Watch the Symphony of Lights from the Clocktower in Kowloon.
We're walking up to 10,000 Buddhas Monastery and the path is line by 500 disciples.
Be sure to take the cable car up to the village of Ngon Ping on Lantau Island to see the Tian Tan Buddha and the Po Lin Monastery.
Come to Sai Kung just an hour outside of Hong Kong.
Perfect day out on the water here, absolutely beautiful.
When in Hong Kong, jump on the subway, it's cheap and it's easy to use.
When in Hong Kong, you must visit Soho to enjoy its many bars and cafés, antique shopping and a visit to the Man Mo Temple.
Take a ride on the world's longest escalator.
The Tai O Fishing Villages is a great day trip where you can experience a more traditional way of life.
Take a scenic boat trip, explore the stilt houses, and browse the many fish markets.
Wow, that's a lot of dried fish shops.
Seafood and dining are a large part of every day life in Hong Kong, a visit wouldn't be complete without taking a food tour.

何家慧在结婚当天，因错手伤了她未婚夫伟良的债主而被判入狱，在女子监狱中，她虽然认识了白蔷薇、亚琴等不少好朋友，但同时也受到多方面的不公平对待，包括山东婆不断欺压，令她感到身处于人间地狱。她正直不阿，而且善良坚强，忍受不了这样的生活时候，恰逢一次出逃的机会，没料到同仓的琴的儿子也跟在里面。明明可以逃狱的她为了救龙龙折回，又再次受到狱警连同山东婆的欺负，她奋起狂反击，而偏偏在这时她得悉自己怀孕的消息。
