Full-time Co-editor

New Internationalist is looking for a new magazine co-editor. For over 40 years, we have delivered a unique form of global journalism with a focus on social justice and equality. Our stories cover those places overlooked by the mainstream, enable people to speak for themselves and celebrate a better way of doing things.

We are looking for a talented writer and experienced editor with strong analytical skills who is passionate about human rights journalism. Dynamic, disciplined and versatile you will be comfortable representing New Internationalist externally and ideally have a network of international contacts.

This is a permanent position in a small team. You will be joining New Internationalist at an exciting time of change, following a successful community share offer that means we are now co-owned by our readers.

Salary £34,000

Office and Business Administrator

New Internationalist is looking for an extremely organised, resourceful administrator to work in our Oxford office. You will be responsible for managing our busy, friendly office and ensuring that New Internationalist and our suppliers deliver high levels of customer service.

New Internationalist Publications Ltd is a co-operative of 18 people, reporting on issues of social and global justice. You will bring proven experience of working in a fast-paced administrative role, developing efficient systems as well as having meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a passion for social justice. You will be a self-starter who is committed to working co-operatively. This is a 35-hours-a-week position.

Salary £34,000
