On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the United Nations Department of Public information (DPI/NGO) hosted an event at the UN in New York. The theme for this event was ‘Critical Minds for Critical Times: Media’s role in advancing peaceful, just and inclusive societies.
