    Fantastic, timely article on why battle is not won, and what happened last time we didn’t see the fight for civic space thru (with a hotel gifted the City Square as a forecourt). Festivals, rallies, protests, vigils, speeches - democracy needs public spaces

    Credit where it's due: The state govt has announced $11.6 million over 5 years to roll out Home Stretch, which will give young people the option of staying with their carer until the age of 21. A long-overdue and sensible reform that supports young people & also cost effective.

    The ABC has been with me my whole life - Dad listening to radio; me watching Aunty Jack, then graduating to be on the telly and now on the radio at My kids listen to I'm determined to pass on the marvellous gift of to their kids too!
