Dada (/ˈdɑːdɑː/) or Dadaism was an art movement of the European avant-garde in the early 20th century. Dada in Zürich, Switzerland, began in 1916 at Cabaret Voltaire, spreading to Berlin shortly thereafter, but the height of New York Dada was the year before, in 1915. The term anti-art, a precursor to Dada, was coined by Marcel Duchamp around 1913 when he created his first readymades. Dada, in addition to being anti-war, had political affinities with the radical left and was also anti-bourgeois.
At least two works qualified as pre-Dadaist, a posteriori, had already sensitized the public and artists alike: Ubu Roi (1896) by Alfred Jarry, and the ballet Parade (1916–17) by Erik Satie. The roots of Dada lay in pre-war avant-garde. Cubism and the development of collage, combined with Wassily Kandinsky’s theoretical writings and abstraction, detached the movement from the constraints of reality and convention. The influence of French poets and the writings of German Expressionists liberated Dada from the tight correlation between words and meaning. Avant-garde circles outside France knew of pre-war Parisian developments. They had seen (or participated in) Cubist exhibitions held at Galería Dalmau, Barcelona (1912), Galerie Der Sturm in Berlin (1912), the Armory show in New York (1913), SVU Mánes in Prague (1914), several Jack of Diamonds exhibitions in Moscow and at De Moderne Kunstkring, Amsterdam (between 1911 and 1915). Futurism developed in response to the work of various artists. Dada subsequently combined these approaches.

In 2010, Dada Life was voted #89 in DJ Magazine's annual Top 100 list of the most popular DJs. Dada Life's popularity grew over the next two years: in October 2011, they were voted #38 in DJ Magazine's Top 100, and #24 in 2012. Some of Dada's biggest hits to date include "Rolling Stones T-shirt", "Happy Violence", "Kick Out The Epic Motherf*cker", "Unleash the F*cking Dada", "White Noise / Red Meat", "Feed The Dada" and their remixes of "Dynasty" and "Llove" by Kaskade (feat. Haley), "Big Bad Wolf" by Duck Sauce, "Who Is Ready To Jump" by Chuckie, and "Prutataaa" by Afrojack and R3hab. Dada Life frequently headlines at North America's two largest electronic dance festivals, the Electric Daisy Carnival and Ultra Music Festival. At Electric Daisy Carnival 2011, Dada Life brought out a full marching band to perform their song "White Noise / Red Meat."
On October 26, 2013, Dada Life broke the Guinness World Record for the world's largest pillow fight at a Dada Land Compound event at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago and had 3,813 participants.
Ayu Rosmalina (born 20 June 1992 in Depok, West Java), better known by her stage name Ayu Ting Ting (also spelled Ayu Tingting) is an Indonesian dangdut singer who rose to fame in 2011 for her song "Alamat Palsu" ("Fake Address"). Her stage name, Ting Ting, is related to virginity.
Ting Ting was born in Depok, West Java on 20 June 1992 to a civil servant and his wife. She began modelling at the age of 45, and was introduced to dangdut around that time. Ting Ting began her music career as a wedding singer at the age of 14, earning Rp. 250,000 (US$ 28) per performance; that year she was also Miss Depok. In 2007 she recorded a solo album, Dilanjut Aja (Just Continue), with Akurama Records which included "Alamat Palsu" ("Fake Address") (written by a man from Tasikmalaya) and "Ting Ting". "Ting Ting" used the title as a euphemism for 'virgin', including lyrics such as "saya masih ting-ting / dan terjamin ting-ting" ("I'm still ting-ting / and guaranteed to be ting-ting"); she later added ting ting to her first name to create a stage name, at the suggestion of her producers.
The subscription business model is a business model where a customer must pay a subscription price to have access to the product/service. The model was pioneered by magazines and newspapers, but is now used by many businesses and websites.
Rather than selling products individually, a subscription sells periodic (monthly or yearly or seasonal) use or access to a product or service, or, in the case of such non-profit organizations as opera companies or symphony orchestras, it sells tickets to the entire run of five to fifteen scheduled performances for an entire season. Thus, a one-time sale of a product can become a recurring sale and can build brand loyalty. It is used for anything where a user is tracked in both a subscribed and unsubscribed status.
Membership fees to some types of organizations, such as trade unions, are also known as subscriptions.
Industries that use this model include mail order book sales clubs and music sales clubs, cable television, satellite television providers with pay-TV channels, satellite radio, telephone companies, cell phone companies, internet providers, software providers, websites (e.g., blogging websites), business solutions providers, financial services firms, fitness clubs, lawn mowing and snowplowing services and pharmaceuticals, as well as the traditional newspapers, magazines and academic journals.
The Ashoka Chakra is a depiction of the dharmachakra; represented with 24 spokes. It is so called because it appears on a number of edicts of Ashoka, most prominent among which is the Lion Capital of Ashoka. The most visible use of the Ashoka Chakra today is at the centre of the Flag of India (adopted on 22 July 1947), where it is rendered in a navy-blue colour on a white background, replacing the symbol of charkha (spinning wheel) of the pre-independence versions of the flag.
When Gautama Buddha achieved nirvana at Bodh Gaya, he came to Sarnath on the outskirts of Varanasi. There he found his five disciples Assaji, Mahānāma, Kondañña, Bhaddiya and Vappa, who had earlier abandoned him. He introduced his first teachings to them, thereby establishing the dharmachakra. This is the motif taken up by Ashoka and portrayed on top of his pillars.
However, the 12 out of 24 spokes represent the twelve causal links taught by the Buddha and pratītyasamutpāda (conditional arising). The first 12 spokes represent 12 stages of suffering. Next 12 spokes represent no cause no effect. So, due to awareness of mind formation of mental conditioning stops. This process stops the process of birth and death i.e. nibbana. The twelve causal links, paired with their corresponding symbols, are:

The Dada movement was a protest against the barbarism of World War I, the bourgeois interests that Dada adherents believed inspired the war, and what they believed was an oppressive intellectual rigidity in both art and everyday society. Dada was an international movement, and it is difficult to classify artists as being from any one particular country, as they were constantly moving from one place to another. Dada thought that reason and logic had led people into the horrors of war, so the only route to salvation was to reject logic and embrace anarchy and irrationality. However, this could also be thought of as the logical side of anarchy and rejection of values and order; it is not irrational to embrace the systematic destruction of values, if one thinks them to be flawed. Darren Agnew was commissioned by Simon Whalley, Exec Producer, Framestore Design and Digital to create the opening credits sequence for Mr Bean's Holiday. The brief was to have the captions work with the architecture of the opening scenes so that they were clearly presented but did not distract from the comic antics of Mr Bean. Darren opted for a clean and simple sans serif font and gave it a sense of fun with an animation style which is whimsical yet subtle.

Video: Rosa Menkman Music: Extraboy The video-images are constructed out of nothing but the image created by feedback (I turned a high-end camera on a screen that was showing, in real time, what I was filming, creating a feedback loop). Then I glitched the video by changing its format and subsequently exporting it into animated gifs. I (minimalistically) edited the video in Quicktime. Then I sent the file to Extraboy, who composed music for the video. The composing process started with a hand held world radio. Extraboy scanned through frequencies and experimented with holding the radio in different parts of the room while touching different objects. Eventually he got the radio to oscillate noise in the tempo that he perceived in the video. The added synthesizer sounds were played live to ...

Doo doo doo, doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo
Spent my day at the jumping school for chickens
I think I learned a lot today
Tonight I've got a date with my best girl
She's the greatest girl in the world
She's so the one for me, it's all good
On everything, everything we agree
Every little thing
She loves the bands that sing all the hate songs
So much "kewler" than the stupid bands
That sing their stupid songs about love
Yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves the bands that bring on the pain songs
So much "kewler" than the stupid bands
That sing their stupid songs about love
So much "kewler"
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo
I'll buy the cigarettes she likes to drag
They won't run, she won't have to bum
The wrong kind again from me this time
I can't wait to be again with her
She's so "kewl", she's a cat, she purrs
She knows all the words to the songs we sing
I love to hear her sing
Love to hear her sing
She loves the bands that sing all the hate songs
So much "kewler" than the stupid bands
That sing their stupid songs about love
Yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves the bands that bring on the pain songs
So much "kewler" than the stupid bands
That sing their stupid songs about love
So much "kewler" than the stupid bands
That sing their stupid songs about love
So much "kewler"
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo
I'll buy the ring for her someday
She'll leave it in her eyebrow to stay
The way she is to me tonight
So much to see in life through her
So glad she understands my words
As we float like birds through our concert high
Through our concert high
Through the concert high
She loves the bands that sing all the hate songs
So much "kewler" than the stupid bands
That sing their stupid songs about love
Yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves the bands that bring on the pain songs
