Molly Meldrum has apologised following his controversial appearance at the Logies, which saw him interrupting Samuel Johnson's Gold Logie speech with a series of f-bombs.
"I profusely apologise if I upset anyone," Meldrum told NewsCorp.

The actor who also won an award for his role as Molly Meldrum was joined on stage by the iconic music journalist.
"I'm so very proud of Sam. Everyone should be proud of him. His speech for his sister Connie was beautiful and his charity work is simply amazing.
"He's gone through a lot lately. And if people had problems understanding what I was trying to say, well, that's nothing new to me," he said.

Meldrum, who bum-rushed the stage during Sunday's Gold Logie presentation to gift Johnson with a gold-painted Stetson, commandeered the mic during the actor's acceptance speech, launching into a wild rant filled with live swears and odd references to his assistant's boobs.
The moment caused controversy among viewers, with some questioning whether it was right to laugh at Meldrum's rambling speech considering his health issues in recent years.
Appearing on The Project on Monday night, Johnson laughed off such concerns.
"He doesn't actually swear that much to my memory so he must've been loosey-goosey," he joked, adding that he'd re-watched the speech to decipher Meldrum's comments.
"He mentioned my deceased father, who he was a drinking mate with. He mentioned my beautiful sister who he first visited in hospital when she was 11... He also made a crack about his assistant Yael's boobs in a clumsy attempt to kind of segue into the breast cancer thing – and it came out as 'boobs-f-f-boobs-f'," he laughed.
"It was awkward a bit, but it was vintage Molly. It was Molly doing Molly times 100," Johnson told host Carrie Bickmore.
"He really tried to add to the moment... and acknowledge his relationship with my family. Underneath it all it was a really sweet act and I hope people understand that."
Speaking to Fairfax on Monday morning, Johnson said he was deeply touched by Meldrum's gift and the two are on good terms.
"Molly did [the hat] himself and, you know, normally Molly gets people to do things, so it means an incredible amount to me," he said.
"We're always yabbering with each other. I wouldn't be here without Molly."
