Another part of the Mechanical Fitter's job may be to take things apart as well as put them together.

For every Mechanical Fitter job placement, it is crucial that they are fully capable of following all safety practices to ensure safety among other worksite employees. This can include of properly using and taking care of all portable electric hand tools, and other non-electric tools such as drills, reamers and taps.
