Mortal Kombat is a video game franchise originally developed by Midway Games' Chicago studio in 1992. Following Midway's bankruptcy, the Mortal Kombat development team was acquired by Warner Bros. and turned into NetherRealm Studios. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment currently owns the rights of the franchise and rebooted it in 2011.
The development of the first game was originally based on an idea that Ed Boon and John Tobias had of making a video game starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, but as that idea fell through, a fantasy-themed fighting game titled Mortal Kombat was created instead. The original game has spawned many sequels and has been spun off into several action-adventure games, films (animated and live-action with its own sequel), and television series (animated and live-action). Other spin-offs include comic book series, a card game and a live-action tour. Along with Capcom's Street Fighter and Bandai Namco's Tekken, Mortal Kombat has become one of the most successful fighting franchises in the history of video games.

Wipeout 3 (stylised as wip3out in Europe and Japan) is a futuristic racing video game developed and published by Psygnosis exclusively for the Sony PlayStation. The title is the fourth game in the Wipeout series, and was released in Europe and North America in September 1999. It was the first game to be released by Psygnosis's Leeds studio. Players control extremely fast anti-gravity ships and use weapons to force other contenders out of the race. The game was re-released in Europe as Wipeout 3: Special Edition in August 2000, which contained additional tracks and content.
Developer Psygnosis hired design studio The Designers Republic to create a simple colour scheme and design for in-game menus and race courses, to create what a Psygnosis staff member called "a believable future". The game is one of the few PlayStation titles to run in high-resolution mode, offering crisper graphics and visuals, and also notable for having a widescreen correction option.Wipeout 3's soundtrack is composed of electronica tracks selected by DJ Sasha and features contributions by Orbital and The Chemical Brothers.
Wipeout (trademarked as WipEout) is a series of futuristic anti-gravity racing games developed by SCE Studio Liverpool. The series is well known for its fast-paced gameplay and high-quality 3D visual design running on the full resolution of the console the game belongs to; its association with electronic dance music (mainly Goa trance, Uplifting Trance and Big beat), as well as its continuous collaboration with certain artists (The Chemical Brothers, Optical, FSOL, Cold Storage, Kraftwerk, Orbital, Aphex Twin and others). The series identified itself with a strong graphical design, provided by The Designers Republic.
Wipeout is a racing series that features vehicles that hover over futuristic racetracks. The series is known for its speed and consequential difficulty. The fastest speed the vehicles can reach on their own is roughly 800 kilometers per hour, although the player can boost their speed even further by driving over [usually] blue chevron shaped tiles which can potentially increase the vehicle's speed up to the speed of sound (1225 kilometers per hour). The player can compete against CPU controlled players or live opponents in a variety of game modes, such as races, time trials and others. Power-ups (or "pick-ups") are also available and come in offensive ("weapon") and defensive ("item") varieties. Such power-ups can be obtained by driving over an "X" shaped tile on the ground. One of the most iconic offensive weapons of the series is the "Quake" which creates a fiery wave that travels down the track in front of the user, essentially hitting every opponent ahead of them. Weapons are capable of dealing damage in most installments and enough damage will completely destroy or "eliminate" an opponent, permanently removing them from the race in most cases.
Animation is the process of making the illusion of motion and change by means of the rapid display of a sequence of static images that minimally differ from each other. The illusion—as in motion pictures in general—is thought to rely on the phi phenomenon. Animators are artists who specialize in the creation of animation.
Animation can be recorded with either analogue media, a flip book, motion picture film, video tape, digital media, including formats with animated GIF, Flash animation and digital video. To display animation, a digital camera, computer, or projector are used along with new technologies that are produced.
Animation creation methods include the traditional animation creation method and those involving stop motion animation of two and three-dimensional objects, paper cutouts, puppets and clay figures. Images are displayed in a rapid succession, usually 24, 25, 30, or 60 frames per second.
Early examples of attempts to capture the phenomenon of motion into a still drawing can be found in paleolithic cave paintings, where animals are often depicted with multiple legs in superimposed positions, clearly attempting to convey the perception of motion.

The Sony PSX was a PlayStation & PVR released in 2003 only in Japan and didn't sell very well, making it rare today. The system was capable of playing PS1 and PS2 games natively but just didn't have the impact Sony was looking for. I finally picked up the Japan exclusive Sony PSX video game console. Released in Dec 2003 in Japan this console was short lived to due very high manufacturing costs and poor reliability due to over heating or optical pickup failures. I'm happy to add this my Playstation collection.

He needs me
He doesn't know it, but he needs me
And so no matter where he goes
Though he doesn't care
He knows that I'm here
He needs me
I ought to leave him, but he needs me
I know that I'm not very bright
Just to tag along
Oh, but right or wrong
I'm his and I'm here
And I'm gonna be his friend or his lover
'Cause my one ambition is
To wake him and make him discover
That he needs me
I've got to follow where he leads me
Or else he'll never know that I need him
